Strickland lands in JKB's hometown

After a "Turnaround Ohio'' bus tour last week that skipped most of the city's major urban areas, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Ted Strickland will land at the corner of Hamilton and Blue Rock in Northside Saturday afternoon for a rally with Cincinnati supporters.

Promising "entertainment and refreshments,'' the Strickland campaign will take over Hoffner Park at 1:30 p.m. in the heart of the city where his opponent, J. Kenneth Blackwell, made his bones in politics.

Ted Strickland is coming to Northside! That ought to cause Team Blackwell to lose sleep.

Is Teddy going to show off his NRA credentials and bring his gun to Northside? Or is he going to try to fool the Starbucks set?

Bronson's piece today in the Inquisitor may as well have been a paid political announcement for Blackwell. He talks about Blackwell as a "devout Christian" but conveniently leaves out the fact that Strickland is an ordained Methodist minister. Blackwell, Buchanan & Bronson-the Unholy Trinity.
