Little known fact, the people that plotted the assassination later achieved similar success developing the Banks!
Sometimes it is a shame that too many liberals are nonviolent.
This story was reported by the Washington Post and placed on Cincinnati Nation almost two weeks ago.
Then, it was on the Q City News blog several days ago.
After that, it was on City Beat's blog Monday.
As always, the Enquirer is last.
It's interesting that Mr. George Ellis found the FBI report amusing. I guess if his organization had threats against it he wouldn't want the FBI to help? He wouldn't want them to find two protesters outside one of his meetings with handguns. Or does he find it amusing that someone on the opposite specrum of belief was threatened? Do I see intolarance on his part? I think some sensitivity training is in order here.
Mr. Anonymous: I never saw the FBI report, nor did I tell Ms. Kurtzman that I had. Oh well. No way to preclude bad reporting. However, I did say that I'd found the story a bit amusing. This is not the position of Equality Cincinnati. Our position is that we have no institutional knowledge of this plot or the allegations related to it. My personal position is....Jerry Falwell is an evil man and I had so many thoughts of interesting ways in which he could be put to death. Anyway, without sharing all of those, I simply say, get over it. First, the FBI found no plot. I knew this when I spoke to Ms. Kurtzman. Therefore, my reaction was to a hypothetical plot. I still find this funny. If an LGBT organization was actually plotting to kill him, of course Equality Cincinnati would abhor and condemn such action. But, since that's not the case here, I can find the "thought" the "idea" of a bunch of angry drag queens plotting against Jerry Falwell quite amusing. And I do.

It's not sad when some people die.
most amusing is that anyone cares about a 24 year old story.
here's a thought: the calls were made by someone ginning up anti-gay sentiment, and the "plot" was completely fabricated, having nothing to do with Stonewall Cincinnati, its Board or members.
Ron Paul is an alien. Just Google 'Ron Paul' and 'alien' and see what turns up...
Not for the faint of heart, I assure you...
