Here's Something Not Election-Related

Organizers of Westwood Concern and Price Hill Civic Club say goodbye Monday to Cincinnati Police Capt. Drew Raabe.

Raabe recently was transferred from the West Side's District 3, where he was the leader for more than seven years. He went to a new assignment downtown as part of a group of supervisor moves around the department.

Mary Kuhl, of Westwood Concern, and others hope for a big turnout Monday night at their party, 7-8:30 p.m. and - where else do you party on the West Side? - Price Hill Chili, 4920 Glenway Ave.

Give me an F-ing break! Raabe and his cops have sat on their fat rear ends while Westwood, Price Hill and Covedale have gone to hell. They have done NOTHING to stop the crime wave and ghettoization of our communities. Good riddance to him. Let's get Si and his deputies on the westside; they will clean the neighborhood up!

That's funny. Let's blame the Police for the Westside problems. Let's not blame....hmmmmm....
Section 8 voucher holders and their irresponsible behavior, women and the men who donate their sperm to these women who are reproducing at an alarming rate ..reproducing mind you, NOT RAISING these children who are running the streets creating havoc all over the Westside, CMHA who gave these individuals those Section 8 vouchers, Roxanne Qualls helped DESTROY the Westside by voting for the tearing down of the West End projects without thinking about nor caring where these individuals would go, the crappy landlords who rent to people who they WOULD NOT want to live next to but don't give a rip if we do, the City of Cincinnati who doesn't enforce their own building codes so these building go "ghetto', are not maintained and then they are sold very cheap..guess who buys them..you guessed it those same crappy landlords, the people who USED to live in Westwood and Price Hill who ALLOWED big beautiful homes to be torn down and in their place...you guessed it crappy apartment buildings, the "good" people in Westwood and Price Hill who for many years allowed all of this crap to creep into our Communities and didn't say a word on the fear of being called a racist, fear of getting involved, worried more about anything else except what was happening in front of their own eyes and when it was time to fight they moved to Harrison, Green Twp, Bright, shall I go on??? That’s what I thought. Don’t get me wrong..the Police Department as a whole has NOT been as proactive or aggressive as they should be!! Now that I agree with. But please don’t lump Captain Raabe and his hard work on behalf of our communities in with the rest of them…it is insulting and plain WRONG!

7:53 Anonymous you are right.

But don't forget how STEVE CHABOT voted to GIVE THE FEDERAL FUNDS to tear down the West End. Or how Steve Chabot voted to change the policy for all those vouchers to take folks up the hill from Denhart's properties. Roxanne couldn't do it without Chabot's federal hand.

One comment on the closing of the West End. I believe they knew exactly where the people would move, and even assisted them in moving to Price Hill Westwood, etc. That was cold calculated block busting. It is interesting to see retreads from the 80's and 90's coming back to council and having to face what they intentionally did to the west side. They have a lot of nerve. Maybe they want to try to undo what they have done. How can they live with themselves?

.

It is only common sense to move blue-dot, red-neck, wRong wingnut whackos to the west-side !

bird-ling's of feather !

The double-decker's at PH chili will be made with MELBa-toast and loaded with race bait !

Move all section 8 to the west-side of town. All 'deters the cheater' scum should be centralized. What better place than Delhi, Price Hill, Green township ?

Why do you think the mad brad, grand-standing, 'bird-ling' moved to the east-side ?

Move'n on UP - Jefferson !

PATHETIC 'family values' !

HAD ENOUGH:

VOTE NO, on the 'fanatical five' !

VOTE, for a real, DEMOCRAT 2007 and JEFFRE !

So let me get this straight. The original post by Jane was about a celebration for Captain Raabe's service to District 3 and now a tangent on everything else but that. Got it.
This is so typical for these blogs.
I guess most of the people who post have ADD, can't focus on the subject at hand.

One way to get involved and assist in your neighborhood rather than be so upset about the past issues, which I am too, is by getting involved with your local community council - Westwood Civic Association (3rd Tuesday of every month) and Price Hill Community Council (uncertain when they meet). If you have questions, the President of WCA is Jim McNulty and, of course, Pete Witte knows EVERYTHING about Price Hill matters. Both groups are community groups given money from the City of Cincinnati for their communities of Westwood and Price Hill (just like all other community groups in the City limits). Feel free to stop-by and check out these organizations.
