Commissioners: kids, play on
Hamilton County Commissioners said they think a proposed Cincinnati ban on kids playing in the street is silly. No, they don't want kids to be hit by cars, but jailing anyone for a game of street basketball is extreme, especially when they're trying to decrease the jail population. \

Criminalizing youth is absolutely ridiculous - hey, whoever posed this might want to put a park on every corner instead, then kids won't play a pick up game in the streets
boone county neihbors acting as vegelanties protecting their dead end st. that one of boone counties own officers live on, are charging my son with 16 counts of wanton endangerment and fleeing. Did I mention the st. is only 2/10ths of a mile and he never even left the st. While the neightbor who thru a pitchfork thru his windshield was not charged.
When David Pepper was asked for his position on the city's marijuana law didn't he say something about the County Commission leaving these decisions up to local goverments. So why is he sticking his nose in to this? I don't want to see kids or parents get locked up for playing in the streets but I also don't want people getting locked up for possessing a joint.
My point is that Pepper sticks his nose in when he feels like it and he is a hypocrite.
