Vote Only For Newcomers?

Whoever put together this YouTube video must have taken a lot of time finding some of the most unflattering photos of Cincinnati City Council members. Other than that quality entertainment, the message seems to be: Vote for anybody but anybody who's been a council member already or a school board member.

The poster, called FireCityCouncil, says even though Cincinnati schools and city leadership suck, it's likely we'll get "nine retreads" on Nov. 6.

Click here to see Sam Malone in a mug shot and Chris Bortz stick his tongue out at you.

Usually Bortz is giving us (those of us who make less than 6-figures) the middle finger. Sticking his tongue out at us is actually an improvement.

I am no fan of Sam Malone, but I think he was just charged with domestic violence against his child, but was not convicted.

Anyway, GREAT vid, GREAT points, put your hands together for a great job. I hope to see more from that poster!

Looks like the, so called, "fiscal-five" is utilizing Bortz and Malone!

Nothing like deficit spending by both !

Why should the tax-payer supplement the likes of them ?

We used to pay fair and now they have cut everyone's pay for the same work of the both men!

PATHETIC !

HAD ENOUGH, VOTE DEMOCRAT 2007 !

Sam Malone is NOT a convicted child molester!!!

He was accused of beating his son with a belt. Big difference compared to a sex crime.

Go Harris, Eby, and Bates.

The song is a classic, the guys backing this are turds - way to go COAST - first you be-friend Smitherman to get the black vote for your referendum and then you lobby to nix any vote the black community has to offer.

Hey COAST, WE WON'T BE FOOLED AGAIN!

You are nothing, and never will be more than that again in Hamilton County

Why would anyone vote for Bates? The only reason she's in this race is her husband's death. Her record on the school board is an abomination. She campaigned with Tom Brinkman and COAST against a school levy renewal. She abandoned those children and stripped them of crucial funding. She ought to have resigned in disgrace. She's an incompetent, corrupt, demagogue buffoon.

You people from the left are filled with so much hate. It amazes me that you all are supposed to be the tolerant ones. Why don’t you practice what you preach sometime? Love your neighbor even if you don’t always agree. All I see it comments like “repgunants” and other hate towards those in which you disagree. Diversity isn’t just about color and sexual orientation you know. Who said that you are always right anyway? Last time I checked, we were free to believe as we please. Its called democracy and not communism. Why do you try it?

I thought we voted in 4 new people last time, or am I wrong?
I know Borts and Ghiz for sure are new. Things are finally happening for the better in Cincinnati, so I'd like to know what this persons beef is.

Once again some attempt to coast through life by telling everyone to kiss 'finney's fanny" !

PATHETIC !

HAD ENOUGH, VOTE, for a real, DEMOCRAT 2007 !

Anon 12:13,

Besides your personal hatred of the organization, where do you get the idea COAST is behind this?

Anon 5:54 (er, um, I mean Steven Hill),

"Sam Malone is NOT a convicted child molester!!!"

Hey, is that going to be his slogan?

Oh, right, he'll use the tasteless slogan of putting discipline back into government.

Is he going to go around and use his belt on over-spending department heads?

Is he going to flog the accountants until they find programs to cut?

Leslie Ghiz is the only Republican who can win. She might be able to carry John Eby over the line, too.

Winburn, Malone, and Sissy Monzel are TOAST.

Ghiz isnt even going to able to drag her sorry arse over the line, let alone wannabe Eby. Ghiz is at best a RINO anyway.

Winburn is in, Monzel is in, Cranley, Cole, Crowley are all in. Cooper, Thomas, and Bates are maybes.

Bortz seems to be having an identity crisis, so he is flailing, Berding is toast.

"...Besides your personal hatred of the organization, where do you get the idea COAST is behind this?..."

They illegally utilize the same copywrited song !

Bird-lings of feather flocking together !

They are all on the brink-man !

PATHETIC !

HAD ENOUGH, VOTE, for a real DEMOCRAT 2007 !

Anon 2:51, well, thanks for clearing that up! They use the same song! So does CSI:Miami.

Maybe David Caruso and Emily Procter worked on this together.
