Some day, we're going to run out of Mallorys...

Yet another Mallory is running for public office.

Dwayne Mallory, an former assistant city solicitor, plans to head to the Hamilton County Board of Elections this afternoon to file petitions to run for a municpal court judgeship.

When he gets there, he will no doubt run into his brother, Joe Mallory, who is an elections administrator and a former office-holder himself, having served on Forest Park city council.

And, if he wins this fall, he'll be the second Mallory to hold a judgeship - his brother William Jr. is on the court of common pleas.

And he'll have two more brothers in high places - Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory and State Rep. Dale Mallory.

William Mallory Sr., the retired state representative who was once Ohio House majority leader, has built a pretty good family business, it seems.

Perhaps Papa Bill should have taught his sons how to support themselves in the private sector and not always rely on taxpayer dollars.

A family of show men who utterly lack substance

I'll take a planeload of Mallorys over the Repugnicant Winklers any day of the week and twice on Tuesdays!

Concerned reader....
Perhaps William Mallory Sr raised his sons to devote their lives serving people. None of them are getting rich off their chosen professions.

OK, Enquirer, you gotta do the story.

Take Mark, daddy Bill (He gets paid), Dale, Judge Bill, Joe, Dale and any other Mallory and just print how much in salary and benefits this ONE FAMILY gets from taxpayers.

Gotta' be a half mil a year.

Im going to keep politics out of this... Dwayne is a really nice guy... however I think any bumb panhandling on court street is as qualified as he is for to be a judge.

Simply put... he is incompetent. Incompetent to the point where if is elected he could do some real damage. Bill Mallory he is not.

The Dad was wonderful, but the kids???? there isn't a normal one in the bunch. This aristocratic government has got to stop --- why can't we have candidates take a test and see how they measure up on different things instead of just their last names

I don't understand why a family that is as devoted to public service as the Mallory family deserves to slammed like this. I think it is incredibly honorable the way this family has served.

Some day, we're going to run out of Mallorys...

Some day can't arrive soon enough for me. This outfit is as bad if not worse than the Kennedys. Daddy Bill took pages from Papa Joseph Kennedy's play book on how to get your kids into politics. When Daddy Bill goes to his Judgment Day, watch it all fall down.

No, the Mallorys are worse than the Bushes. Why do we continue to put the members of this family on our payroll?

Let's see if the Mallory backed City Link project goes through. Everyone knows, especially people who have invested in OTR, that this is a bad idea. Of course, Mark Mallory does not comment on it because his brother is involved.

What a sham.

Bill Stone, OTR
