Speaking of hometown boys, Tony Snow needs to come home too. He clearly isn't ready for prime time. If you don't know what I'm talking about, just click here.
Rob Portman, just another rat deserting a sinking ship.
run, run, run, run away from bush as fast as you can. maybe steve chabot can give him some tips on how to mow the grass.
why would you want tony snowjob back? as minister of propaganda he needs to go on trial with the rest of those fascists.
And Bush derangement syndrome has infected Cincinnati!!!!!
The best scenario: John Kasich runs for governor in 2010 and, after George Voinovich retires, Rob Portman runs for Senate in the same year.
So I guess that commission to save Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security isn't going to happen after all...
Never before have so many accomplished so little in such a long period of time...
If Rob Portman runs for Senate, then maybe so do I...

Hilarious, I laughed my 'finney fanny' off !
Just what we need:
A snow job, double-speak, to 'coast' his way through the 'culture of corruption' !
The misleader could use more of that snow !
snort, snort, nasal drip !
PATHETIC !
HAD ENOUGH, VOTE DEMOCRAT 2007 !
Portman is an exceptional Republican--all those years and not one indictment yet. Wow!
Yeah, I agree with the "2010" Scenario in which Mr Portman runs for Senate in that year..assuming Voinovich retires.
He really shouldn't have tried to commute CVG-DCA all of those years....but then he would have found out how wonderful Northern Virginia is compared to Cinci (or anywhere else in the world for that matter).
That would have set up a whole new set of "Bob McEwen"-type problems.....but it would have been the right solution if he indeed wanted to have an impact as a US Congresssman or as the
"Director of OMB"
Silk-stocking Republican......Ohio doesn't need that kind of a voice on the national level...it needs someone who understands the problems at the Ford plants in Batavia or Sharonville, for example

Unfortunately with the politicalization of the Department of Justice, indictments of Republicans are harder to come by, as anyone following the US Attorney Scandal knows. That said, seeing Abramoff, Lay, Ney, Cunningham, Noe and Libby are behind or soon to be behind bars, one can only wonder what would be left in the party if REAL justice was served.
Mr. Portman is often praised by Republicans because he is, unlike so many elected Republicans, not visibly racist, sexist, insane, or wacko. I suspect he knows how to write nice thank you notes and knows which fork to use for his salad. Is that enough to be an elected official? Maybe not, but if he runs against Jean Schmidt for his old position as US Rep. from the second district, this Democrat might consider voting for him.

snort, snort, nasal drip !
This Republican is glad to see Portman abandoning the traitorous Bush Administration.
Why is Bush a traitor? He, along with "Worse than DeWine" George Voinovich, Ted Kennedy, and others are trying to grant amnesty to millions of illegals. Each one of these illegals would be allowed to bring ELEVEN family members. Each one of those ELEVEN would be allowed to bring an additional ELEVEN! Bush supports the take over of these United States by a new Aztlan and LaRaza.
MS-13? Let them stay! Felons? They get amnesty too! Bush is a traitor, Tony Snow is a traitor, George Voinovich is a traitor, and so is anybody else who supports this sovereignty destroying legislation.
