Upcoming fundraisers

Besides Bob McEwen's upcoming fundraiser with Jack Kemp and Anthony Munoz, here are some other big names expected in the Greater Cincinnati area soon:

House Speaker Dennis Hastert, R-Ill., will attend a lunch fundraiser in Clermont County on March 28 for Rep. Jean Schmidt, R-Miami Township, and a dinner fundraiser in Indian Hill that night for Rep. Steve Chabot, R-Westwood.

Meanwhile, House Deputy Whip Eric Cantor, R-Va., plans to headline a Schmidt fundraiser April 11.

That's also the same day that Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., is expected to host a fundraiser in Cincinnati for Chabot.

Way to be "fair and balanced" Malia. The Ohio Democratic Party is hosting Ret. General Wesley Clark for a fundraiser tomorrow night at the Westin. Information can be found at http://hamiltoncountydems.org/.

Or do only Republican fundraisers warrent free publicity?

Yeah Collin, it was very surprising to see the House Leadership supporting an incumbent. We'll see where the sun rises tomorrow.

It is nice to see losers supporting losers.

It sends the perfect message that:

It is Time To Clean House !

Jeff, it should be obvious to you that there is a difference between active and passive support. Headlining a fundraiser is clearly active support. It is very nice to see the active support of House Leadership for Congresswoman Schmidt and Congressman Chabot.

The fanatical activists of the wrong wing appear to be circling their wagons for the ambush of their own corrupt leadership !
