So... Jack Kemp, a washed-up has-been, comes in for a fund-raiser for Bob McEwen, a washed-up has-been?

When is the Enquirer going to take a look at the QUALITY of the people behind Jean Schmidt: the President of the United States, the Speaker of the House, the House Majority Leader, et al? Then let's look at all the "formers" on Bob McEwen's team? Or all the people from podunk places like Deer Park and Adams County? Who gives a flying fig about the former Mayor of Blue Ash???

Look at Jean's Congressional staff, with quality professionals like Nan Cahall, who has always been a top performer everywhere she has gone; Beth Race, one of the most helpful people I have ever known; and Barry Bennett, one of the top Washington strategists.

Jean Schmidt's campaign team is even stronger with public policy professionals Allen Freeman and campaign expert Joe Braun on board.

Let's compare that to the bunch of unemployed losers hanging around the McEwen office all day.

Jack Kemp is going to be embarassed to be in the same time zone of Bouncing Bob McEwen. If they ever cross paths in the House gym where they like to hang out and pretend they are still important, Kemp will probably beat Botox Boy like a red-headed step-child.

Friends, please take note of the mean-spiritednesss associated with people like Jean Schmidt. The poster Jeanrules is typical of the type of people her meanness surrounds herself with. She didn't get the nickname Mean for nothing.

It's time for change. It's time to bring back Bob.

It's time for the "accidental congresswoman" to hit the road.

Yeah, let's look at the people behind Mean Jean Schmidt.

She has the support of Congressman Steve Chabot, who I believe is an excellent Congressman. Oh wait, no she doesn't. Congressman Chabot didn't endorse either candidate.

She does have the support of anti-illegal immigrant Congressman Tom Tancredo. Oh wait, she doesn't have that either. Congressman Tancredo's office said they don't plan to issue an endorsement.

At least she was endorsed by The Family Research Council. She said so herself. Nevermind, that's another lie from Mean Jean. The FRC doesn't endorse candidates.

Let's see who she does have. She has the support of liberal Republican Leslie Ghiz. Last we heard from Ghizzy, she was fighting for gay rights and supporting Democrat David Pepper for Mayor over the Republican candidate Charlie Winburn, a black man, because Ghiz doesn't like black people.

She also has the support of former County Commissioner John Dowlin, who never met a tax he didn't hike and worked with Bob Bedinghaus to pass the giveaway stadium lease deal to Mike Brown. It's really no surprise to see a huge tax-hiker like Dowlin supporting another huge tax-hiker like Mean Jean.

When does Bob Taft endorse Mean Jean?

Let's compare that to the bunch of unemployed losers hanging around the McEwen office all day.

Unemployed individuals are not losers, they are unemployed citizens for which mean Jean should be supporting !

Mean Jeans menial campaign workers are as classless as the queen of mean herself.

Must be because their offices are so close to that other classless hack who had a hotel in the same area. I think that queen of mean did federal jail time for insensitivity toward the working class !

Careful what you say, you wrong wing nut!

Soon you shall be unemployed !

I'm not politically active, but I'd like to see some Republicans(Mr. Kemp) who really did govern like conservatives support our congressman and who can remind our current GOP congresswoman what conservatives TRULY are. So to "jeanrules", I wouldn't be so confident in hugging our current leadership. People are not satisfied with the RINOism pleaguing our party!!!

Oh my gosh! Jack Kemp!?!?!?! That is amazing! I'm sure now EVERY registered R is going to vote for a registered lobbyist, being supported by loser states (i.e. Albania?), was pushed out of office by the house bank scandal, and has lost multiple elections trying like a dweeb to get back to the "cool kids" table.
Give me a break. Bob, you're washed up.

These posts are really funny! Please keep them up because they are very entertaining. Gee - for me, I tend to look at the candidate themselves and not who endorsed them or how strong the people behind their campaign are. I normally would not vote in a primary and presently if I did I would get a Dem ballot. But Jean is so repulsive to me (both as my representative to the House and as a person)I plan on getting a Republican ballot this upcoming primary just so I can vote against Schmidt. Schmidt happened - hopefully her stint in the House will be a short one!

Schmidt happens.

If anything, in the primary, vote for mean jean !

She will be an easy defeat in November when real change can come to our representative rule !

Send a clear message to the country !

Follow the well balance democratic leadership or find other employment, period !

Then let the democrats take notice, remain well balanced or you will be looking for employment, as well !

I think you are right (Judy)! We thought Jean was going to be a change from the status quo in Washington. It turns out she is the same RINO she was before masked in complete allegiance to President Bush. I guess she can't think outside the Beltway box.

You know the "young GOP activists look like little Hitlers" remark? Schmidt's camp has now taken to blaming her evil twin.

I wonder how much more embarrassing she can get.

Wow nice to see that people from Deer Park and Adams county are from "podunk places" Real nice comment. Not a surprised coming from someone who suports the class-less Mean Jean. Lets see can you rip on more people. Oh yea Jack Kemp is washed up just because he is not in congress?? Lets see he only runs one of the most powerful conservative groups in the country and is very, very respected. But you can rip on him too.

Oh by the way Chabot did not endorse Mean Jean, that was a lie. The Family Research Council did not endorse her either. Even though she claimed it.

Keep thowing out lies and putting people who don't live next door to you down. That is so COOL!!!

Unemployed. You mean like most of Jean's former aides? She went through three in her last year in the Ohio House. How many quickly left the secure job they had working for Rob Portman since Jean was announced the winner? Does Dr. Lee Vesper sound unemployed? How about Dr. Raymond Davidson? Does either of these MD's sound unemployed? Does Jeff Hardin of Guradian Savings Bank sound unemployed? Many people support Bob McEwen but do not want to publicly endorse him for fear of retribution from the Schmidt campaign and the Clermont Central "protect our money" Committee.
Jack Kemp is nationally known for his genius in the macro-economic field. What is Jean Schmidt known for? Her big mouth shooting off before engaging her brain? The SNL skit where the actress opens her mouth and was still smaller than the gaping hole shown by Schmidt on
C-Span. You could have parked a Caddy in the cavern she had while insulting a fellow member of congress and a decorated war veteran,a Marine!
I suggest that the Schmidt campaign produce a letter from each endorsement stating the words endorsement or endorse. If they have none, take it down. Mr. Peter Schmidt, tear down these lies!!!
Schmidt did not receive an unanimous endorsement from the Clermont Central Commiittee. For each person known to not have voted for Jean in the endorsement, an opponent was recruited to run against them in the central committee race. Mean Jean is being vindictive again.Bitch!!
Jean had a wall size poster made and hung in the Clermont Reublican HQ's that said "Watch out Nancy Pelosi, here comes Jeannie Schmidt!"
Well Jeannie, learn to shut up. Once May 3rd ishere, you will be a short termer.
If Jean was so great , why did Ed Humphrey and Mary Wolff fail to choose her to replace Joe Uecker when he went to be State Rep? Why did Jean encourage and sublimely support the two candidates running against them for trustee and why did she overtly support Ken Tracey's opponent? Was she bitter that Tracey was chosen instead of her? What a bitter ole bitch.
