If it really is going to be Gehring v. Driehaus in the 31st, this lifelong Republican will gladly cross the aisle to vote for Denise Driehaus.

I'll take the honest Democrat over the Democrat pretending to be a Republican any day of the week.

"Happy Holidays" to my Democratic friends at Bold Endeavors---Barney Frank.

Steve Driehaus filed his petitions too.

Looks like Rabenold will be coasting to a win...why Minamyer is staying in the race (which is the perception this gives) is beyond me.

Dale Mallory again? Oh please, someone, anyone, run against this do-nothing individual. I beseech you to run against him!

Oh wait. If he loses, how will he pay the balance of that old 1997 civil action against Cadlerock, the outfit he stiffed on a loan? His state wages are being garnished at a little over $800 a month & it's barely made a dent in what he owes.

Forget it. The payoff on the loan is Dale's problem. Somebody run against him so we can get him out of there! Please help!!!

After you read these two articles, you will see that it is totally curtains for the GOP.

The economy is tanking and only someone who will get tough on OPEC can turn it around.

Running against Dale Mallory (Ohio 32nd) is tough. The Republican Party is weak at the top (poorly managed) and ineffective in city politics (and soon, county). As a conservative, this drives me crazy. George Vincent, put away the golf clubs and get to work. All Conservatives should call for change.

Would the Democrats get off their butts and find a candidate for sheriff? Si Leis needs to go!

During this Holiday Season watch out for wRong wingnuts !

There is a bumbler crop of spoiled fruit hidden by shells, i.e.:

Tom DeLay and Kenneth Blackwell's vehicle: a shadowy front group called the Coalition for a Conservative Majority (CCM) which plans to inundate the American people with packs of their lies, shameless spin and attacks in all 50 states.

They aren't the only wRong wingnuts that are coming at us with full force. Freedom's Watch, the White House connected group "selling" Bush's Iraq war, has pledged to spend $200 million on behalf of pro-war candidates next year.

And, Sheldon Adelson, billionaire casino owner, has pledged to spend an additional $100 million on behalf of wRong wingnuts next year.

So, while the wRong wingnut whackos are foot-tapping around Ohio attempting to seduce our intellect, we must not forget that the wRong wingnut whackos have:

PATHETIC 'family values' !

HAD ENOUGH, VOTE DEMOCRAT 2008 !

In a very sad bit of news, Vlasta Molak has decided not to run. It would have made for an entertaining race. Can't believe no one has stepped up to challenge Portune when he seems vulnerable.

"Dale Mallory again? Oh please, someone, anyone, run against this do-nothing individual. I beseech you to run against him!"

Be careful what you wish for- it appears that "someone, anyone" is Theo Barnes, who in his City Council races made Larry "99 homeless but registered to vote bums on the wall" Frazier look sane, and sound intelligent, by comparison.

Just read the story on the police firings/demotions.

Streicher obviously tried to make light of it and got caught. Again.

When does he go? All of the officers know he is a joke and does not care. He has watched his cops refuse to work time and time again. When is it his turn to get fired?

I haven't seen Steve Silver's name as a candidate
for the 34th House. He almost beat Brinkman last time and would be a great one to run.

I am sorry-but can't the dems find someone better than Denise Driehaus to run? What exactly are her qualifications? She owns a coffee shop-that is all I know. Disappointing!

I can't beleive you guys left off Harris. Is Weiser still biased against him?

Martha Good is mentioned three times on getting petitions (in the article). Is she running for three offices or is she picking up papers for candidates who are to lazy to drive to the BOE.

Why does Greg Harris (or his campaign) feel that Weiser is biased against him ? Didn't Greg get the Enquirer endorsement and good media (positive) coverage ?

Why no "R" next to DeWine's name?
