Pepper: Vote for Team Lachey!

Hamilton County Commissioner David Pepper appears to have joined the fan club of pop star Nick Lachey and his "Team Lachey" choir.

The chior is getting rave reviews on the NBC show "Clash of the Choirs" which airs at 8 p.m.
Yesterday before the commissioners delved into the weightier matters of the county's budget and parking rate increases, Pepper used some of his microphone time at the meeting to sing the choir's praises.

"I just want to congratulate Nick Lachey," said Pepper. He said he watched the show Tuesday night and thought the team did a great job. He also "That’s the best any show has made Cincinnnati has looked in a long time."

Pepper explained to the audience that you can vote up to 10 times on NBC.com and urged everyone to vote for the team.

"Plus, if they win, Children's Hospital gets $250,000!"

County Administrator Pat Thompson noted that the choir even includes a county employee from the Job and Family Services Department. His name is Jo'Ram Griffin, a clerical specialist in child care.

Does anyone even remember that Papper & Portune's blogging ersatz critic, Justin Jeffre, used to be in the same band as Nick? Of course Nick is still a big star and always was the star of the act. Jeffre and the other 98 Degrees sidemen are long since forgotten, washed up has-beens. What does Jeffre do for a living today? Aside from constantly getting crushed in elections he doesn't appear to have much going on besides blogging at the Beacon and censoring comments from people who disagree with him.

Poor little Justin!

Way to go Nick! With all the negativity going on around here...such as Sheriff Leis having to lay off officers the day after Christmas...resulting in less patrol of Over the Rhine...you and that fantastic choir you put together really did Cincinnati proud. This also resulted in $250,000 going to our Children's Hospital. Quite a nice Christmas present you gave us, Nick. We're so proud of you!

The above writer must not realize, or have the wit, to examine election financial reports because they clearly indicate what Mr. Jeffre is doing !

Although, we do not always agree with the goals or issues, Mr. Jeffre has become an involved citizen by working and speaking for those unable, or unwilling, to speak for themselves !

He certainly doesn't, nor do we, have to worry about the activities of cincycapell (including her spelling skills: Papper) !

PATHETIC !

HAD ENOUGH, VOTE DEMOCRAT 2008 !

I think cincycappel is lonely and needs a friend. The only way to have a friend is to be a friend. Cincycapell is very sad. Maybe Cincycapell should shop at Capell's and buy a happy elf suit. Would that make you happy cincycapell? Why are you being mean to Justin instead of enjoying Christmas?

Tell JJ to take down his ILLEGAL sign at corner of Anderson Ferry and Sidney Roads in Western Hills (just outside the cemetery.) While he's at it, have him make a personal appearance, sign some autographs, take some photos with fans, bring a squeegee, wash some windows, donate the profits to the Neediest Kids of All. Bet he could sell out the Pirates Den bar for some holiday carols if Nick and Drew made guest appearances !

Did Pepper also throw his undies at Lachey? What a giggly schoolgirl.

My my I see a lot of negative energy on these posts. You all need some Christmas cheer. Nick and his choir gave our city some positive publicity and brought home a quarter of a million dollars to Children's Hospital. Leave it to Cincy.Com bloggers to turn it into a chance to hurl insults at Justin and David. They are nice people who never did anything mean to you!
