Heimlich: Me too

Phil Heimlich plans to put an end to rumors that he might be getting out of his 2nd Congressional District tussle with Jean Schmidt by filing his petitions with the Hamilton County Board of Elections Friday morning.

Heimlich's task of ousting a sitting member of Congress of his own party got a little more complicated last week when State Rep. Tom Brinkman announced he, too, would join the GOP field in the seven-county southern Ohio district.

Heimlich, though, took the development in stride, telling the Enquirer that Brinkman, with no money and little time to organize a campaign, is "a non-factor."

So who's in against Dewine? Can't believe they'll leave him out there on his own.

GO PHIL!

We've got the right candidate to beat Schmidt, who the Politico labeled one of the top 5 incumbents most vulnerable to a primary challenge.

As for Brinkman, somebody who was rated the worst legislator in the Statehouse has no place in Congress. Not to mention, Brinkman has numerous ethical issues. Can anyone else say Judge Ruehlman?

Well, that caps it. Jean Schmidt will win the GOP nomination.

Tom Brinkman is a good man who runs for office for the right reasons. Stop the personal attacks. Tom has served us well.

Brinkman looks to be in his third trimester.

It's a shame Brinkman is getting in the race...now Mean Jean will win the primary. She was beatable when it was a heads-up race, but she's unbeatable in a three-way race.

Either Brinkman or Heimlich need to get out of the race so Schmidt can be beat. I'd like to see Brinkman get out purely because he hasn't raised any money and doesn't have the groundwork for a campaign laid. It's nothing personal against Brinkman...he's good on alot of issues...but at this point people need to get behind Heimlich.

None of this matters.

Anyone the Dems put up will beat any one of these three.

Your President has assured that.

Like Tricky Dick, Flithy Phil is destined for eternal disgace.

Phil is unemployed. He has nothing to lose.

I guarantee Brinkman gets more votes than Heimlich.

Guaranteed.

Money can't buy votes when everyone hates you. Just ask DeWine.

Heimlich has no chance whether the race for the nomination is a two- or a three-candidate affair. His association with Christopher Finney and the COAST fanatics plus his loss in Hamilton County to Pepper have cut the legs from his prospects. Brinkman's entry merely sealed the good Congresswoman's victory.

Great. Heimlich's been Mean Jean's sole opposition for 6 months and has picked up about 2 more votes than he started with. At this rate he'd beat Mean Jean in another 12,000 years. Phil should give Brinkman a chance to do what he couldn't. That's the least he could do.

Ironically I never heard from Jean Schmidt until recently when I received two taped message phone calls which I immediately hung up on. I really don't care who runs against mean Jean just as long as we get her out of there. Her legacy will be a devoted bobble head for the Bush 43 regime.

Although, the use-less ****ing idiot of the NAZI party (tnp) has the wRong slinging pile of elephant dung propaganda, she is right on this one !

The NAZI party (tnp) has also been right regarding 'sweet jeans' misleading followers !

The NAZI party (tnp) is right on the primary, but will be wRong in the general election !

Perhaps the NAZI party's (tnp) 'cut and run', colon rink-a-dink an elephant dew cleanser shall relieve the toxic 'mean jean' ?

However:

WULSIN shall WIN !

HAD ENOUGH, VOTE WULSIN 2008 !

When the votes are counted in March, Congresswoman Jean Schmidt will defeat Heimlich and Brinkman, just as she bested her 10 opponents, including Brinkman, in the June, 2005, special primary. And when the tally comes in for the November general, Congresswoman Jean Schmidt will triumph over whatever hapless candidate the Dems throw against her. It will be her sixth straight election victory since June, 2005! Take no prisoners, Jean!

Jeez, why don't you two b___holes get together & duke it out and quit wasting space on these boards?

Are you secretly in love?

Wulsin has less chance of beating Jean Schmidt than the typefaced blogger moron who slings Nazi and elephant dung from his paws !

"....Congresswoman Jean Schmidt ...hapless candidate...throw against her. It will be sixth straight...prisoners...! 4:45 PM, December 21, 2007..."

The VOTERS have:

HAD ENOUGH of colon's, cuts and runs, sweet jeans, cleanser !

VOTE WULSIN 2008 !

I think only a person who is so full of themself could come to this conclusion. Clearly you are out of touch with many many people. Osama Bin Laden would be a better congressperson than any of the repugs.

Wulsin 2008 has my vote, and financial support.

Anonymous at 9:46, 12/22, clearly I'm in touch with many, many people, and I can assure you that I'm right. Blither all the nonsense you care to about OBL; the Second District seat will be won once again by Congresswoman Jean Schmidt.

Jean, take no prisoners!

Don't count your chickens...Wulsin may not even win her primary. Watch and see.

The level of understanding most of the people on this board have about politics is laughable at best.

I hate Mean Jean... but all Mean Jean does is win elections.

Brinkman has assured she will win the primary... and if it is a repeat of Mean Jean and Wulsin... Jean wins by 5-10 points. This aint 2006 and Vic Wulsins song and dance doesn't play in the 2nd district during a presidential year.

Wulsin's only chance in this district was an off-year election. Now, everyone knows she's just a garden variety moonbat. Jean may be crazy but her craziness matches with the 2nd district.
