Driehaus: It's official!

State Rep. Steve Driehaus, the Democratic party's annointed candidate in the never-ending struggling to oust Rep. Steve Chabot from office, is making it official today.

He'll show up at the Hamilton County Board of Elections at 2:15 p.m. to file petitions. As of Thursday morning, no other Democrats have filed in the 1st Congressional District.

Chabot will run his customary 8-10 points ahead of the top of the Repug ticket, like he always does. This time, however, he will lose.

Steve Driehaus will be a great Congressman... much better than "Comb-Over Chabot"!

Hey Driehaus! Your website is wrong! Chabot only took 52% of the vote in 2006! You are quoting the unofficial numbers before it was official! Your chances are better than you think!

Only way Steve D wins is to emphasize his pro-life, pro business, "West-Side" native patrician as Democrat side.
Too bad this isn't the 70s and he's not Tom Luken running against Don Clancy.

Steve Driehaus wants to control women's bodies.

About time, we need to elect someone who can lead the west side instead of watching fall apart.

anon 4:14, If you fault a politician over the failures of the west side, look at city council. Also Mr. Driehaus has represented you on the west side for many years. There is plenty of blame to go around. This is more the reason not to rely on government to control our daily lives. And why are you standing there "watching things fall apart". Get involved.
And anon 6:21 (dec.20), stop the personal attack on ones hairstyle.

Yes, John should again lose to Chabot.

Howard: why do reporters use exclamation points? Reminds me of Fox News' "We have a new Pope!"

Chabot is vulnerable, but not to Steve "Small Hands" Driehaus.

He is an arrogant little zero and everyone in Columbus knows it, and soon the folks in Hamilton County will know it too.

Right now, nobody even knows him.
