Back on job

Kathy Binns is back on the job as Hamilton County Commissioner Todd Portune's Chief of Staff.

She returned to the job last week after taking a couple month-leave to run the campaign for Issue 27, the sales tax increase to fund a new jail and public safety programs. Voters rejected the tax, but Binns and company were praised by Portune for their excellent hard work on the campaign. Binns took a couple weeks off before returning to her $53,560 a year job at the county Nov. 26.

Binns did a great job running an honest, forthright campaign - the only problem was that this is politics and politics is dirty. Issue 27 NEEDED to play the game for the good of the community instead of taking the high road with a bland, uninspiring campaign.
Respect Binns as we should for her integrity - the reality is Issue 27 didn't deliver at a painful costs.
Next time Binns - take the gloves off, roll in the gutter a little, and learn how to play a dirty game while retaining your high values. It can be done.

Who invited the use-less, ****ing, idiot to the commission majority victory party ?

And, who served her ice-cream ?

PATHETIC 'family values' !

HAD ENOUGH, VOTE DEMOCRAT 2008 !

Kathy, please, stay away from Todd's campaign. Please stay away from ALL Democratic campaigns this year. Your horrid ineptitude was on display during the Issue 27 campaign. Please. We need to get your boss re-elected and we need to send Daddy's Boy DeWhiner packing. We also need to clean out all the Repugs and their corrupt cronyism which has been dragging the county down for decades. We will have the wind at our back in 2008 to a degree we may never have again. We can do that if you law low.

Kathy was a pleasure to work with, and I'd do it all over again.

anon 11:29 - if I recall, didn't Kathy Binns run Todd Portune's last campaign? That was the campaign where he had the second most votes in any contested election (more votes than Bush in Hamilton County). So your whole comment doesn't really make any sense (even without the typos - "law low" ha!).

Also you imply that Todd Portune is running against Pat DeWine. That is not true. They are in separate campaigns. Are you even from Hamilton County? Have you ever been to Ohio? From your comments and the way you write, I doubt it.
