things would start getting nasty. He said he'd heard about an effort to make him look bad.

Click here to see what might be that effort.

There are thousands of yellow fliers on cars downtown today. They say, "NO REV. WINBURN" "We do not need a lying, manipulating conman on City Council"

he may have heard about it all over the radio last weekend.

reminds me of all the hit lit he generated against David Pepper.

What comes around goes around, Charlie.

What in the hell is going on in the Republican Party? Is anyone in charge of this circus? Marcus Jenkins is a former Treasurer of the HCRP and is close to many R elected officials. What ever happened to working out your differences behing closed doors?? That's the way it used to work. This is the way the demo's looked 10-15 years ago. When was the last time you saw a public fight between them?

Someone better do something soon in the local GOP before it is too late. It's out of control.

What, Winburn can predict the future? I doubt that. I'd say more likely he sees that people in Cincinnati remember him as he is, not as he projects himself. He's a clown looking for a circus. Any vote cast for this man is a waisted vote. He's a bad joke that keeps repeating.

The last time I checked the Hamilton County GOP was burning their codebooks and preparing to flee in exile to Kenwood.

The rapidly imploding Winburn campaign is another Mike Harlow endeavor. if there is an extreme conservative involved and it's a losing efort, you can be sure to find Harlow's fingerprints on it.

This is an unmitigated shame and a sad day in Cincinnati, Ohio when a MRDD pubil, Marcus Jenkins,an official member of the Hamilton County Republican Party Central Commitee, can be allowed to represent even the waste of the local Republican Party. I am applauded that someone in the party with the intestinal fortitude for vehement leadership has not stood up and dismissed and divorced theirself from this rogue and ruffian, Marcus Jenkins, on principle alone. Being a genuine republican means what we do and say is predicated on principles, not personal attacks, lies, verbal violence and persecutions. Someone must send out an immediate call for a return to "republican principles". We revere church, family, mothers, wives and children, we don't smear them in this kind of print and media for diabolical gain. Marcus Jenkins is clearly a O.J. Simpson and Charles Manson Psycho-profile and is even beyond Dr. Phil's help. We must defend the principles of Our Grand Old Party against this "ghetto virus" and protect our families, friends and community against his contamination.

Jane,

Did you see this attack on Berding?

http://blogs.citybeat.com/porkopolis/2007/11/berding-and-win.html

I can't remember an association going after an incumbent, Non endorsing is one thing but an attack is another. You might want to invesigate this...

I really hope this isn't the only thing Rev. Chuckles has to worry about.

anon 5:40: I'm guessing you're a proud non-graduate of the CPS?

Please tell me you're a first-generation immigrant for whom English is a Second Language? It's your only grammatical salvation.

To 2:01 am poster:

uh...nope!

Winburn's political career is over. Goodbye, Charlie. It's better this way. You didn't belong back on council. And it's now official: political operative Michael Harlow is the Bob Shrum of local politics. Way to go, Mike Harlow! You were part of another losing campaign!

Hey 2:10- thanks for watering and fertilizing the flowers of intolerance. Is that the stench I smell when crossing the 8th street viaduct ??

The affluence rules the effluence right here in River City.

The anonymous loser who keeps claiming Mike Harlow (no one who knows him would call him that) is managing all these losing campaigns must the same moron who thought Harlow was instigating his ouster as Blue Chip RINO chairman.

This same person is almost universally considered to have been the biggest loser in Hamilton County on Election Day. He got fired in August from a winning campaign (turned around after he left) and managed a losing campaign for council.

In the meantime, he did such a piss-poor job of running the RINO club that even the slumbering board members noticed and ousted him. And how good is he making on those threats to ruin all of those board members, plus Harlow?
