Bengals For Berding
As most of you well know, Jeff Berding works in sales and marketing for the Cincinnati Bengals. Well, he taps into that connection with a fund-raiser Nov. 2, inviting folks to a $150-per-person party with players TJ Houshmandzadeh, Rudi Johnson and Madieu Williams. Also promised: "Cheerleaders and more!"
It'll be at the Pleasant Ridge home of Allen Haehnle. The invite says it comes from East Side parents who want to "help keep our friend Jeff Berding on Cincinnati City Council!"
On the host committee: Jack & Karen Ankenbauer; Eric & Jane Combs; Jay Fagel; Alan Fershtman; Charlie Hall; Matt Howland; Will Kreidler; George & Kate Molinsky; Bill & Ann Moran; Matt & Cindy Stephens; Marc & Stephanie Trautman; Kristina & Mark Voytek; Stephanie Wong; James & Mary Zimmerman.

Would this be the same Jeff Berding who makes much of his west side roots in his campaign ad? Taking money from "East Side parents?"
Talk about pandering.
No, Jane, many people don't know that Berding works for a company that has taken advantage of the city.
Berding has been pretty good at keeping his connection to the Bengals on the down low since early on in his term. Notice how he is no longer the person quoted in news stories.
Do you think that's a coincidence?
Even his own party has questioned his loyalty to the Democratic Party because of his affiliation with the Brown family.
While Berding pretends to be a Westsider he moved to Linwood last year. This east side even shouldn't be a surprise.
Wouldn't it be nice if everyone had the means to move away from neighborhood problems instead of solving them?
Notice how Berding refuses to respond to his critics in The Forum on The Enquirer's site?
He knows he is fighting for his seat.
Call him out about his West Side affiliaton when he's out shaking hands.
Put him on the spot, even if he has his kids with him. Campaigning with his kids is something he did two years ago, causing me to back off.
Not this year.
What, Jeff, are things better on the East Side?
Don't campaign as a West Sider when you're not.
You've been hanging around in the Bengals' front office too long.
Is this where Berding comes out of the closet as a flaming Republican?
If Berding is working for Mike, he's in the purgatory _ell as Bob Bedinghaus. A rich _hore.
You sound pretty busy. Do you have time for the simpletons who can't afford your $150 Bengals dinner?
If Mike Brown and Bob Bedinghaus are for Jeff Berding, then so am I. Mike Brown forever! Bob Bedinghaus forever! Vote for Jeff Berding, because he represents Mike Brown and Bob Bedinghaus.
"...Do you have time for the simpletons who can't afford your $150 Bengals dinner? 9:19 PM, October 24, 2007"
No !
In fact, I will vote for 17 mil. in corporate welfare give-a-way and then grand-stand by cutting social services like clinics and pools that make up only 1.5 % of the budget(2.5 mil approx).
I will use my cuts, on the backs of kiddies, to demonstrate that I'm the fiscal conservative, Ha, Ha , Ha, Ha, - the balding bird-ling !
PATHETIC 'family values' !
HAD ENOUGH:
VOTE NO, on the 'fanatical five' !
VOTE, for a real, DEMOCRAT 2007 and JEFFRE !
Jeff Berding will win.
The Bengals will win.
Then everyone in the city will be happy. WHO DEY!!!
And I was the guy who said "we won't shoot the pigeons".
I still like Jeff Berding for Council. He is smart, and who cares where he lives...He has done a good job....Pat Wesley
