Jeffre/Patton Go Mobile
Haven't seen it yet, but Justin Jeffre's campaign says he and Michael Earl Patton are touring Cincinnati's 52 neighborhoods in a Mobile Communication Unit. In an e-mail from the campaign, the MCU is described as a "graphically enhanced bookmobile that can be strategically deployed to distribute political messages and campaign information in an interactive, multimedia, street-level fashion."
Jeffre's friend, Nick Lachey, was scheduled to christen the MCU on Saturday with a bottle of Over-the-Rhine Ale.
Jeffre's quote from the MCU announcement: "A digital revolution and wireless technology allow for more efficient means of communication...We need to move beyond name recognition. Instead of drawing attention to our names, we need to draw attention to the presence of our ideas, so we can promote a deep discussion about the direction of our community."

Our foot-tapping bold typist has always wanted to ride in a bookmobile.
.
This is the greatest, innovative, "campaign marketing tool" we have ever seen for a Cincinnati council candidate !
Unless, you want to throw in tar-bell's hat ?
'pimp my ride' !
JEFFRE is bringing technology to the voters and clearly demonstrates a forward thinking mind set !
Certainly, would be worth the $62,000 salary unlike the wRong wingnut whacko phonies claiming to be willing to cut their own throat !
wRong !
However, the elephant dung slingers are willing to do, say, anything to get elected !
PATHETIC 'family values' !
HAD ENOUGH:
VOTE NO, on the 'fanatical five" !
VOTE, for a real, DEMOCRAT 2007 and JEFFRE !
It's a good message delivery tool - unfortunately, the message has been bought and paid for by COAST
It's the Blues Brothers!!!!
(or they better get all this finished before Councilperson Ghiz's noise ordinance passes)
Jeffre's Mobile Command Unit: one giant carbon pawprint on the city. Think Bigfoot here. Disgraceful. Despite the recent rainfall, people in this town are still choking on the smog, soot & filth left from the Summer. Jeffre's adding to it. Swell.
What a blasphemous, horrible thing to do to a bookmobile!

sigh
I still remember Chabot _walking_ every street of Cincinnati.
Probably the last time Halstead St ever saw a politician.
Good point Anon 8:46--I wonder what the Green Party thinks about that.
Two Things about the Jeffre Mobile:
1) I can’t understand why Justin drives that gas guzzler as a “Green” Candidate, but am incredulous as to why he drives that AND his pick-up truck to events. Can’t the bus fit everyone- he only travels with his dad.
2) The articles that hilariously mention the bus include phrasing about Nick Lachey being present and christening the bus with a bottle of OTR ale. Don’t you think if Nick Lachey was there for this “ceremony” that there would be a picture included with Justin’s article? What a bunch of crap.
And Painter has a converted ice cream truck, last seen Saturday night parked on Ludlow Avenue.
ho, hum.

*******
That thing is ALWAYS parked on Ludlow Ave. Does it ever move? Should we call it in as abandoned? Anyone want to go paint an orange line on it's tire and see if it moves in 14 hours (which is the parking law of the city)?
I bet he drives around in that thing all day getting high. Him and his dad. What a fake non enviromental HIPPIE.
Is Nick Lachey running for council or is Jeffre?
It seems like Jeffre keeps playing that card because he doesn't have any other ones left in his deck.
Justin's campaign headquarters on wheels was parked on the Westside of town at Glenway and Crookshank for a great deal of time this Sun. afternoon. We passed out literature and were very well received. People can scoff all they want but Justin is about as grassroots and down to earth as you can get. So what if he's friends with Nick...get off that already. Don't you all stay close with your high school friends? Check out www.justinjeffre.com and read up there and the Cincinnati Beacon and THEN make up your mind. He once belonged to a successful music group? Since when is that a bad thing?
Hey blogger 10:02...pretty dirty insinuation...which you can't back up ....no surprise..since you don't have the balls to sign your own name! Justin's out there trying to make some things happen....what prey tell do you do but blog anoynomously...it just doesn't seem fair to me that people can attack folks in cyberspace and hide behind the word "anonymous"......you don't sound like much of a man to me!
Hey John,
If I were you, I'd shut my trap, as I am sure that you are aware that many, MANY people can back up the insinuations of Anon 10:02 but choose not to.
If Mr. Anon 10:02 wants to put that out on the table, he has every right to, I'm sure Justin would agree, considering his stance on "transparency" when regarding our elected officials.
Furthermore, people choose to post anonymously for a variety of reasons, it facilitates interesting discussion and takes full advantage of the whole "freedom of speech" idea we have buzzing around our country.
John, cuddos to you for speaking respectfully, not just about Justin but in general.
Seems like the rest of these fools only know how to speak in potty mouth. Anon 9:47 you don't mean "freedom of speach" but rather "freedom to slander".
