Lawyer clarifies Banks complaint
Joseph Trauth Jr., the Cincinnati attorney upset that the conceptual Banks plans allow for 30-story buildings wants to clarify his point. He says his high-powered downtown buisiness owner clients aren't so much concerned about losing their views as the fact that the concept of the development seems to have completely changed and now will compete with downtown businesses, he said.

Again, since when has competition become a bad thing? We are a capitalistic society, that with proper controls to public the public, is the envy of the world. And that capitalism and competition if good for the world, good for the nation, should be good for the county.
(Maybe this explains the long stall on development more than anyone realizes - certain "powers that be" who are being/ have been run out of office, have been purposefully restricting competition for someother good ole boys)
Anyway - again: Fourth Street Boys, meet the new First Street Boys . (Or is it second street?)
Either way, the county is heading, long overdue, toward being First instead of stuck in fourth gear.
Grow up, Fourth Street. Western & Southern doesn't care about competition when they propose building the tallest building in the city!
Trauth is full of it. You all got the story right the first time.
I dont care if there are 100 story buildings on the site -- JUST DO SOMETHING and quite talking and start digging!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are laughing stocks of out-of-towners
What is everyone talking about? There isn't going to be any Banks project!!!! The Banks is just a fairy tale that lives in the heads of our City Clowncil people along with a bunch of pink dancing leprecauns!!!!! the Banks....silly talk I say!!!!!!! Now if you'll excuse me I need to ride my orange unicorn to Pluto which is still a nice country no matter what anyone says!!
