Two bucks on Deters to show

Nothing like spending a day at the tracks with a prosecuting attorney, throwing money at the ponies.

All you have to do is cough up $150 for his campaign fund and Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters will be your congenial host for a day at Keeneland Race Track in Lexington. The bus pulls out of the parking lot of Willie's in Covington at 10 a.m. April 18. For their $150 campaign contribution, Rail Birds for Joe get a bus ride, admission to the track, reserved seating, a race program and something described as "bus refreshments."

You're on your own at the betting window, though.

Dirty Deeds Deters is taking his business / money to Kentucky! Wonderful - he should run for office in KY! And, since he is pro gambling - he ought to resign from the Republican Party that has curtailed the "fun" in Ohio for the fun he seeks in the flourishing KY.
Dirty Deeds Deters always was a hypocrit - now he's a mere bookie.

I agree with anon 1:54. Taking business to another state, much less outside of the county? Really? Couldn't even take people to River Downs? Of course, you can expect this from someone who originally had moved out to Butler County once he left the Hamilton County prosecuter's office.

So what...so so what!!! Give me a break if the man is earning his campaign money and it is legal allow him to have some fun. Remember the man could be making alot more money in the private sector then stepping up to the plate and dealing with the bozos aka.shmucks he has to deal with in the public eye.
