Hilliary Clinton to speak at Ohio Dems dinner

U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton is a featured guest speaker at the Ohio Democratic Party's annual state dinner in Columbus next month.

Randy Borntrager, spokesman for the state party, said as many as 4,000 Democrats are expected to attend the fund-raising event, which costs $150 per person.

Borntrager said the New York senator's appearance underscores the fact Ohio will be an epicenter of campaign fund-raising leading up to next year's presidential election.

Other presidential candidates have been invited to speak, Borntrager said today.

The May 12th dinner begins at 7 p.m. at the Celeste Center on the Ohio State Fairgrounds.

Hillary represents the Corporate wing of the Democratic Party or DLC (Dems who Love Corporations). Although she raised more money than Sen Obama, he had significantly more donors:

Behind The Numbers: 83,531 Gave To Obama, 50,000 Gave To Hillary

Democratic heavyweights Senators Clinton and Obama released how much the've raised in donations in the first quarter as well as their numbers of contributors. According to their websites, Sen. Clinton received donations from 50,000 people, while Sen. Obama received donations from 83,531.

It's time to put an end to corporate welfare and making the top 1% wealthier at the expense of the middle class. Hillary and her DLC pushed free trade which saw many well paying middle class jobs moved overseas to help the bottom line at the expense of the working class. It is also a national security issue to move manufacturing over to China. No more Political dynasties. No more Bushs or Clintons. The time for change is now and Hillary is defintiely not it.

If Clinton wins the primary, there will be a mass exodus of progressives to a third party candiate. Especially with Hagel talking of forming a Unity Party which will split the R vote, Hillary will weaken The Dems chances.

Hillary stands with Bush and McCain instead of backing Sen Kerry. She needs to take a lesson from Howard Dean in how to treat fellow colleagues.

Here's to Hillary - a real leader. (sarcasm-she is the ultimate finger to the wind pollster):

I could vote for any of the Democratic candidates with the EXCEPTION of Hillary. The democrats I know will all jump to a third party candidate if she is the nominee. She is detested by the right and equally by the progressive left-doesn't that say something? Does this country really need another DEVISIVE CORPORATE SHILL?

She'll say anything to get votes, kind reminds me of another who spoke of "compassionate conservatism" when instead he meant soul-less corporatism. This country needs to find a new direction and that will only happen WITHOUT HILLARY!
