Steve Chabot wants you

Rep. Steve Chabot isn't spending his "spring break" from Congress on some sunny beach. Instead, he's holding a "town hall" meeting for constituents Wednesday night in Green Township.

The Westwood Republican plans to update constituents on the work of the new Congress so far, and field questions.

The session begins at 7 p.m. and will go for about an hour at the Nathanael Greene Lodge, 6394 Wesselman Rd. in Green Township.

Yep, I'm busy that night, too.

Hmmmm, during the 2006 election, Chabot all of sudden decided to do town hall meetings.

Now, less than a week after his 2008 opponent announces he is running, Chabot decides to schedule another town hall meeting.

Chabot's town hall meetings and his constituent mailings are all part of his political strategy to use government funds to help get him re-elected.

Chabot is old, dumb, and does not represent Cincinnati.

Chabot is a nice guy, but he just isn't effective and is too beholden to the Republican right wing agenda -- for gosh sake, he is a part of COAST. I would think that Chabot would condemn COAST after the shenanigans Finney the Fink pulled ( cursing and disorderly conduct) and the damage they have done to Hamilton COunty's quality of life as well as the black-eye regarding closed door meetings and patronage in county government.
