What should Gov. Strickland do?

What should Gov. Ted Strickland do about the 190 people awaiting execution on Ohio's death row? (One-fifth of them are convicted killers from Hamilton County.)

clearly, the only solution is to give them jobs in his office.

that would probably cut down on some of the corruption.

(note that i said "some"..)

PATHETIC !

HAD ENOUGH? VOTE REPUBLICAN 2007!

It's simple really. The Repugnicant "governors" before him were corrupt, not to mention racist bigoted, and homophobic. Governor Strikcland needs to pardon the 190 people who were certain to be murdered by the state because the Repugnicants want anyone who looks like them to be wiped off the face of the Earth.

Then he can go after the real criminals in this state: Repugnicant politicans and former politicians.

If he and AG Dann put half the effort into it that they put into thier poltical campaigns, they should have about 1000 Repugnicant operatives from here to Cleveland in jail before they stand for re-election.

And by then, if the Dems try running a real campaign for once, a Democratic president, who will be elected legitimately, will have his or her Justice Department basically shut down the entire Repugnicant organization as a Corrupt ORganization under the RICO statutes.

And before all you Repugnicant operatives start screaming and crying about this, you need to start saving some money for a good laeyer. Between the crooks in Ohio, the child molesters in Florida, and the hustlers in California, you know that the GOP is making the mafia look clean these days.

We need a study to determine if blacks and the poor are receiving their fair share of jsutice when their very lives are on theline.

Don't bother giving them the deathpenalty- the states murder rate ONLY went up since the Supreme Court made it lawful in this country again.

Empirical data supports a finding that the death penalty has done nothing to deter crime and infact has led to more violence.

End their appeals, set execution dates, then arrange pay per view for each event...

Let them all go... I'm sure some evil republican judge sent them there. 4 years of a halt in justice...

If Strickland commuted these animals sentences we should have a recall election. He said he wouldn't commute them in his speeches, so if he does, start the petition for recall.

There are some delusional people on this blog. Aren't criminals convicted by a jury of their peers? If so, I'm having a lot of trouble understanding what the Republican governors have to do with the people who sit on death row. I also don't understand what the word "Repubnicant" means. Maybe I should ask my laeyer. Ah, well - that's another blog entry for another time.

Ohio doesn't have a recall law, Anon 10:06. Otherwise Bob "11%" Taft would have been kicked to the curb long before his minion Kenny was crushed in the election.

Doesn't anyone care that people are being released from jail after decades because dna evidence exonerates them or because we find prosecutors are suppressing evidence and denying them a fair trial-
Should we really do justice or just what feels rvengefully right.
