UC sophomore gets first-hand lesson

Clay Napier, a sophomore at the University of Cincinnati, is one of about 30 or so people at Phil Heimlich's party at the Havana Martini Club. Napier, of Blue Ash, is a newcomer to political campaigns. The 30-year-old political science major got involved in Heimlich's campaign to learn more about local politics and to volunteer in the community.

During the campaign, he helped post signs around the county and mail pamphlets.

He said that one of his biggest lessons was finding out how time-consuming campaigns are.

"I feel good about being involved in this campaign," he said. "Especially after meeting Phil. He's such a nice guy."
