At the Cranley party
Jane Prendergast reports:
It's a scene probably playing out at Election Night parties across the country: Everyone's waiting.
With no results yet, the crowd at John Cranley's party on the 31st floor of downtown Cincinnati's Millennium Hotel is still slim - more reporters and photographers than supporters.
The few Cranley crew members - many were still out working for him until 7:30 p.m. - that are here are gathered around the baby grand piano watching results come in on CNN and checking out the great nighttime view, overlooking downtown. They're starting to keep the bartender busy and to make a dent in the big food piles: cheese and crackers, plus veggies and dip.

With 0 % reporting, CNN has announced and annointed Cranley the winner. CNN spokesman said, "Hey, we chose Strickland as Governor so why not go ahead and announce the next Democratic victory before we even start counting votes."
When reminded about Dewey defeating Truman, the CNN spokesman declined comment. Michael More however is preparing a documentary showing how the election is rigged if exit polls are wrong.
Stay tuned for further details...
This has been a Press Release Election update....
The question on everyone's mind: shrimp or fish sticks?
If Cranley wins the entire Westside will become Section 8 housing. Cranley is a goofball. Ever see him at City Counsel meetings? The Bruthers scared him.
The workers at the Millenium won't get any tips from a Democrat function. Is Cranley making sure they all get a fair wage tonight?
