Some absentee votes in
Whoops went up at the David Pepper party when the Hamilton County Board of Elections reported its absentee vote results.
Of the 26,000 absentee votes counted by the Board of Election, Phil Heimlich was leading 51 percent to 49 percent.
Pepper supporters took that as a great sign, believing Republicans were more apt to vote absentee than Democrats.
