Heimlich arrives to wait for results
Steve Kemme reports:
Phil Heimlich arrived at his election night party 15 minutes ago to begin what he said will be the most difficult part of the day for him -- waiting the election results.
"It's very nerve-wracking," he said.
He said the strong anti-GOP sentiment engulfing Ohio and the rest of the nation has made it much tougher for him to campaign for re-election as Hamilton County commissioner.
"It's been a huge challenge," Heimlich said. "No matter what hapens in this election, this has been a huge uphill battle because of the anti-Republican feeling across the nation and the state. In my campaign, we're tried to focus on my accomplishments over the past four years."
