Would you buy a dish from this man?

The Associated Press reports:

Former Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann spent his first day after resigning helping his wife with her business selling dishes online.

Dann’s attorney Mike Harshman says Dann helped his wife, Alyssa Lenhoff Dann, with her side job selling Fiestaware on the Internet.

Dann walked two miles from his suburban Youngstown home Thursday to the office where he took orders and packed dishes.

Harshman says Dann is weighing career options that could include the law, teaching or another run for political office.

Dann resigned Wednesday after acknowledging an affair with a subordinate and ahead of a threat of impeachment.

I'd buy 100 dishes from Marc Dann before I'd buy anything at all from the self-righteious, hypocritical, economy-destroying, war-promoting, self-enriching Repugnicants in office.

Fortunately, it looks as if many of them will be unemployed themselves come November. Then the investigations will begin and many will be headed to jail.

Just think, in a few years, one of those Repug lawmakers could instead be making your license plate.

"Dann is weighing career options that could include the law, teaching or another run for political office." A rational person, or at least one without a super-sized ego, would never seriously consider option three in that quote. He couldn't get elected to serve as the scorekeeper at a Little League baseball game, much less public office. Any school that would hire him for anything other than janitorial duty needs to have all state funding pulled immediately. That leaves him with remaining as a lawyer - which suits his personality and behavior perfectly. What a joke of a human being...

2:32pm your message is a bore. If you had friends, they would find you a bore too.

FYI.....it was the Democrats, not the Republicans, who voted on articles of impeachment to force Dann to resign. His own party knew he needed to go.

Pun Time:

- Dann served up these "dishes" to us on a silver platter.

- Does this guy have a plate in his head?

- I'm sure the next A.G will make the office first plate, er, rate.

- Dann now has a gold-plated career

- Dann to his girlfriend: "My plate or yours?"

- If Marc Dann is going to work and was supposed to be there 5 minutes ago, could it be said that he is running plate?

- After a recent heated discussion with his wife, Dann spotted many flying saucers!

- Dann on his last romantic interest: "Yeah, she was a real dish."

- Somebody stop me before it's too plate!

I hope Mrs. Dann lobbed a few of those dishes at the mister's head. Of course then that would be a waste of a dish.....

I wouldn't buy plates from him and I certainly wouldn't let him host a fundraiser for me. Driehaus let him host a fundraiser for him. Wonder if he'd buy plates from him too.

I am still waiting to find out what the heck a "Repugnicant" is. And I have a hard time taking anyone seriously that uses the word.

2:52, actually, Dann is revered as a God in the Mahoning Valley. Short of imprisonment, he could easily run for mayor, county commissioner, you name it, and win. It's too late to be on the ballot this year, but I can guarantee you he will run again and win if he is legally able to do so.

3:04, my social life is not pertinent to Marc Dann's career options, nor does it have anything to do with the utter mess of this country that your corrupt and incompetent political idols have made of this country.

In less than 8 years, we have gone from prosperity to financial ruin, from peace to war, from strength to weakness, from freedom to bondage, from a beacon of hope to the rest of the world to an object of derision, from leadership we can be proud of to leadership we keep our children (both sons and daughters) away from.

My social life should be the least of your concerns.

3:04 pm, how many people find you interesting?

- Not 2:32pm.

2:32, you have far too much time on your hands to be offering multiple posts on a blog about Marc Dann?!?! Did he really touch your life that much? Or did he touch you like his subordonate... probably the latter.

Anon 3:32, a repugnicant is some made-up word used by dumbacrats because they think they're being clever with their insult.

Anon 3:38, I don't know why you say 'in less than 8 years' when all the turmoil in our country has happened since the '06 election when the dumbacrats won congress!! Remember pre-2006 when house values went up not down, and you could afford a tank of gas? Can't wait to see how bad things get if Obama wins...

3:04... Where are your morals. You state that prior leadership we could be proud of? What are you thinking with? The same thing that "Bill Clinton" did? Wait a minute, this is the same kind of thing that Marc Dann has done in office. Oh wait a minute...i get it... You and your party of choice are proud to of your sexual escapades in office...that is what they do best. Pray on others without thinking about public...only about their "privates".

Hopefully, The Ohio bar will look at Danns' conduct and consider the possibility of suspending his law license for his aggregious behavior or the revocation of his law license.

To the Cincinnati Enquirer Plate Haters:

Not to worry.
You know that Payday Lender Cap that former Attorney General Mark Dann won? The Payday Lenders hired SOMEBODY THAT YOU ALREADY KNOW: TED OLSON WHO WAS G.W.BUSH'S ATTORNEY FOR
GORE vs.BUSH IS NOW REPRESENTING THE PAYDAY LENDERS. Let's see if TED WINTERS, ACTING ATTORNEY GENERAL (was Dann's First Assistant Attorney General) who used to be Coingate Tom Noe's LOBBYIST can step up. Tom Noe is still serving time in a federal prison.

Pehaps Bob Taft and Marc Dann could start a new law firm with partners 'Dewey, Howe and Cheatum'.

Has the time come for a third party alternative to Dems. and Repubs. - both seem arrogant, and doing whatever it takes to stay in power.

I will be the first to admit that Dann caused his own downfall by how he ran his office, sleeping with the staff, and worst of all hiring a crass, drunken, construction guy from Youngstown to work in a professional office. I have plenty of drunk friends I would never invite to work in my office...

But on the same note, I thank Marc Dann for exposing COINGATE and all the FUNCTIONALLY INEPT GOP CROOKS that have been running Ohio for the last 2 decades.

Marc Dann may have been in bed with a staff member, but the GOP Atty Generals were all in bed with the banks, insurance companies, and other corporations that are ripping off the non corporate taxpayers here in Ohio. Betty Montgomery was more interested in getting herself on 20/20 and Dateline than she was protecting Ohioans from GOP-driven acts of fraud taking place right under her nose.

REMEMBER COINGATE !!!

This is 2:32 again. No, I've never met Marc Dann and don't care to. I just poke at the Repug hypocirsy.

As for things getting worse in the past two years, you need a history lesson. The war started in 2003, gas prices began shooting up in 2001, the so-called family values party has been molesting children since time immemorial, and we've never really had a good economy this century.

3:35 pm He may be a god in the Mahoning Valley but them people are the same ones who elected Jim Trafficant multiple times. Just slightly dumber than all those people who continue to vote for Ted "I swear I tried to rescue Mary Jo" Kennedy.

Jeffrey, slightly dumber than writting 'them people'? You must be one major idiot. Ditto to the genius who criticisez the use of 'repugnicant' and responds by writting'dumbocrat'. typical right wing idiots.

I hope "Little Hands" Driehaus bought some dishware from his fellow party animal. It's the least he could do after throwing his benefactor under the bus.

Maybe the former Attorney General will return the favor if the mean ole' Inspector General starts asking some questions about all those "Girls Gone Wild." I hope the young fella understands that those Youngstown boys play hardball. Good luck, son.

cincycapell, I am sorry my english is not that great. It is a result of a poor public education forced upon me by my liberal brethren who won't permit vouchers to be passed into law. Someday I hope to be smart enough to let people choose want they want to do and truly be free rather than try and force them to go to schools burdened by years of liberals running them.

Hey dummy, that old joke is "Dewey, Cheatum & Howe".

Sorry Jeffy, no vouchers for you. If you want to go to a private school, you are going to have to pay for it. Sorry Charlie.

10:26 I don't think his hands were the tainted part that required washing. Just another Dem that messed up big time.

Mr 4W Wingnut 2:39, when you live in a glass house filled with broken windows, you should avoid throwing stones.

Do we need to retread all of the Grand Old Pervert sex offenders again? Obviously we do.

http://www.republicanoffenders.com/

Features 5 full pages of convected GOP Pediphiles alone. that doesn't even count the philanderers, adulterers, whoremongers and other corrupt reTHUGlicans.

http://www.republicansexoffenders.com/

This one just lists the reTHUGlican sex offenders. They neede their own website because there were so many of them.

At least when a Dem cheats, its normal male/female sex. The reTHUGlicans get caught toe-tapping for gay hookers, huffing meth with male hookers, caught with kiddies, or doing it while wearing adult diapers.

Hey Capped. If you think 2:39 is 4W, you have flunked private investigator classes yet again.
Start again at page one when it says make sure your facts are correct before you make an accusation.

Dear Cincycapell,
Liberals have been trying to take away our guns. What are you going to shoot? Maybe, your loud mouth?

What a surprise, a liberal that wants to kill people for not thinking like they do. Careful, Robespierre, revolutions have a way of eating their own children.

Bravo 8:19, 8:33 & 12:56
Left wingers think they know what's best for all of America.
Right wingers, stand up for your freedoms!

Speaking of 'revolutions that eat their own children', how's that Permanent Republican Majority coming along?

at 3:06 PM, May 20, 2008 Anonymous Anonymous said...

2:28,

Let's use heros you might relate to, Trotsky and Stalin. Trotsky was the true believer, much like yourself. He stood shoulder to shoulder with Lenin, destroying those who did not think like he did, much like you would do. Unfortunately for him, his revolution was taken over by someone who didn't quite think like he did. That did not end well for him. It may not end well for you.

at 3:10 PM, May 20, 2008 Blogger Jeff said...

You see cincycapell the reason that there isn't a permanent republican majority is that we actually can read the constitution see the things that are there. Unlike liberals who see things there that are not.

at 6:34 PM, May 20, 2008 Anonymous Anonymous said...

Delusional Jeffy 3:10 see's lots of things that aren't there.

Like support for the GOP amongst the American people.

Like support for Bush by the American people.

Like a flourishing economy.

Like a victory in Iraq.

Like a GOP Victory in November.

What Jeffy needs to see is a psychiatrist, and he needs to be on some strong anti-psychotic drugs.
