Brinkman? Who cares?

He's not a viable candidate.

I saw him on the street the other day. I think he's pregnant.

Except for a few incumbents, the GOP has not produced a single viable candidate for any office on the ballot this year.

This ensures a Schmidt victory!

9:21 - that's what the political elites said the last time Brinkman took on a Taft-and-spend Republican. As a result of that encounter, we've had the privilege of calling him "State Representative Brinkman" for the past 7 years.

Brinkman is our only chance to elect a real conservative to Congress that we can rely on not to raise our taxes. Taft Republican Jean Schmidt and Sales Tax Phil have shown what they'll do.

Doesn't matter. I am going to put this in terms the corporate plutocrats running the Gang Of Pedophiles can easily understand: your brand sucks.

Face it, after the illegal war, record gas prices, record deficits, a tanking economy, record foreclosures, a worthless dollar, and their interest in using children for their sexual gratification, the "Republican" brand is dead.

They could run the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost for County Commission and will still lose.

Hey 10:27...

How can you legitimately claim that Schmidt isn't a Conservative?

She's more Conservative than Congressman Chabot, even.

National Journal ranked all the members of Congress. Chabot was scored as being more Conservative than 66.5% of Congress.

Schmidt was scored as being more conservative than 86.8% of Congress.

For your edification, Leader Boehner was more conservative than 80%

Yes, Jean Schmidt was ranked to be the MOST CONSERVATIVE member of Congress from Ohio, and the 33rd Most Conservative member of Congress.

All you folks who claim she isn't a Conservative are liars.

And to think Tom Brinkman gave himself 10k in "reimbursements" from his campaign account on his last finance report, along with giving his wife's company, which he works for, 11k for printing. Anyone else see a problem with that?

Brinkman is a joke.

Conservative? What the heck does that really mean? We believe in no social programs and everyone fends for themselves? We attend churches that are strict, adhere to the Bible in our personal lives and the way we treat others? We expect the most extreme penal institutions (as long as they don't cost us money)? We don't believe in abortion, birth control, or pre-marital sex (though half of us were pregnant when we got married, nearly all practice birth control of some sorts, and we don't believe in abortion and stepto the plate to take in all the unplanned chldren born to the sinners? Do we all where suits and ties and knee length dresses with stockings?

What the heck is a conservative?

WHAT IS A CONSERVATIVE...

A Conservative is one who believes in personal responsibility. One who lives life believing in education, respect, good career, country, and family. A Conservative is there to help someone in need but tries to show this "needy one" the path to self reliance. A Conservative believes in efficient, well run government and good management of the "peoples" tax money.

What a shame that Conservatism is hardly used by either Party. Bring back to good old days. Bring back Conservative principles and ideals and maybe Cincinnati will be :the most livable" city again.

With all these people running, looks like we'll get stuck with that idiot Jean Schmidt again. And if so, Wulsin will beat her this time. The stupid idiot Republican in that hillbilly county of Clermont will surely help get her the nomination which will help insure a loss of that seat to the Democrats in November. Wake up Clermont, you are supporting an idiot you cannot get anything done. Are you people stupid or what?

Clermont County is a growing community and county and many Hamilton County voters are moving in that direction.. Please don't underestimate those good folks.

Anonymous at 9:45 am, 1/4, please continue to post your derision and condescension toward Congresswoman Jean Schmidt and her Clermont County base. You are one of the strongest assets we will have when it comes time for the good Congresswoman to clobber whatever hapless soul the damned Dems throw against her in the general. Your sarcasm is welcomed. It helps us to fire up the troops. Keep it coming, Banjo-Eyes.

MAKE IT HAPPEN, JEAN!
