Taxes are easy (Portune/Pepper figured they could do that without the messy business of a democratic vote, wrong)! And while we're at it, make it big enough so we won't have to ask for another 30 years.

Real solutions to society's ills (repeat offenders, troubled youth) are difficult. Throwing money at government or commisioners who won't be there next term solves nothing.

I don't know the answer but why would I believe Portune/Pepper/Leis do?

Pepper wants to treat them, Leis wants to lock them up, Portune wants to be president.

VOTE NO ON ISSUE 27!

1. We already have a Mental Health Program which I am voting for.

2. They need to recoup the $11M from the Lawsuit (and others) they recently lost.

NO on 27. Far too much money that replicates existing programs and funds socail agenda that does little to address crime problems.
Build the jail, fund it as a stand-alone: only then should you ask for more tax dollars to fund the "ambitious" agenda.
