Anti-war folks dog McCain

Republican presidential candidate John McCain will have a welcoming party of sorts when he flies into Cincinnati's Lunken Airport Tuesday afternoon.

Americans Against Escalation in Iraq - a coalition of liberal groups like SEIU, MoveOn.org, and the Campaign for America's Future - has been camped out in Ohio's 2nd Congressional District for some time now, trying to put pressure on Rep. Jean Schmidt to part ways with teh Bush administration over Iraq policy.

Since they are in the neighborhood anyway, the organization's "Iraq Summer" campaign has decided to dog McCain, who has been the most vociferous support of the Iraq "troop surge" among the field of presidential contenders.

The Iraq Summer Campaign will stage a demonstration in the parking lot across from the Lunken terminal at 4 p.m. Tuesday, hoping to greet McCain's motorcade with a large, sign-waiving anti-war crowd as he makes his way to a private fundraiser at the Indian Hill home of developer Bob Rhein.

Why are they wasting their time? McCane, in this race is as relievent as my navel lint would be. Hello, his campaign is void of any substance. Message to the progressive/socialist Soro's lovers, give it up cuz, the REAL Americans are sick of your schpeil,
and you are making idiots of yourselves.

And us residents of the Second District are proud of Jean Schmidt standing firm against those left wing lunatics. If they had their way our nation would simply surrender to the terrorists and risk their influence growing even stronger in the world. This is a war that we cannot stop fighting or our children's children will someday all be forced to bow to Mecca in the not so distant future.

useful idiot, the majority of Americans want us out of Iraq. We are REAL Americans. The Iraqi people want us out.

This bipartisan war was based on lies. It is George Bush and his Saudi buddies that are the biggest terrorist in the world. Their making a killing from their Carlyle Group and Halliburton stocks.

The demonstrators are wasting their time only to the degree that there is not a snowball's chance in Iraq that there will be a Repugnicant in any position of power except in maybe a few redneck townships after the 2008 elections anyway.

Two years from now, McCain and a whole boatload of other Repugnicants will be in prison as a war criminal.

" the REAL Americans are sick of your schpeil"

Right Idiot, only 73% of Americans are in favor of a complete withdrawal within the next year. I'm sure that you think that they're the 'lunatic fringe' , right?

We've seen you Bush enabling, err, supporting 25% dead-enders before. You're the same types of fanatical lunatics that were still 110% behind Hitler in April of 1945, while the Russians were less than 100 yards away from the Fuhrerbunker. They, like you, thought that Dear Leader can still turn it all around. History repeats itself yet again....

Yes, comrade or better yet, you must deal with them as any freind of the party would deal with the Romanof's.

John McCain served 5 years in a POW camp. Referring to him as a war criminal is beneath my contempt. The only worth of that statement is how much it reveals about the anti-American attitudes of many on the far left.

All my progressive friends;
I believe my comments were directed at the waste of your energy in targeting McCain, but I feel compelled to respond to thy slings and arrows.

First, boldboy, thank you for pointing out, as always my spelling error. I still have some bad habits that I learned in your non-compete public school system.

“Their making a killing from their Carlyle Group and Halliburton stocks.”
Let us not forget the Senator from Mexifornia, you know, the one whose husband is the second largest contractor in Iraq??? She was just stripped of her chair on the Senate finance committee???? What was her name again?? I can’t seem to remember because the NY Times, PMSNBC, all squelched the story. Maybe you might have seen it on your X box, but I don’t have one.

“useful idiot, the majority of Americans want us out of Iraq. We are REAL Americans. The Iraqi people want us out.”
Wrong!!!! The Iraqi people want us to stay. They are doing better than under Saddam “Michael Vic” Hussein. We closed the torture chambers and rape rooms.
The ones that want us out are the Iranians Fascists and Syrian throat cutters. The same insurgents that the Iraqi people want out.

“Right Idiot, only 73% of Americans are in favor of a complete withdrawal within the next year. I'm sure that you think that they're the 'lunatic fringe' , right?”
I am in favor of a withdraw when the work is done. I would like to see us withdraw from Germany, and from Clinton’s war front in Bosnia. I want to withdraw with dignity, like Grant, and like your pappy should have done. I know you’re the lunatic fringe; I’ve seen you march with your bongo drums in DC.

PATHETIC!

Your 4p.m. message got the last two lines mixed up.

It's..
Vote Fred Thompson 2008-
Pathetic.

Besides, he's lazy and has nothing to show for his tenure in Congress. Not to mention that he was a lobbyist for 15 yrs. Do a little research on who and what he lobbied for.

He's the fantasy hope of desperate Republicans, and his star is fading even before he's announced.

Could be true....kinda like this Obama guy and the carpetbagger from Westchester co. NY over in the donkey camp. Time will tell; it's a long way to Nov.'08

Usefullidiot, you are the man! Thanks for duking it out with several of the braindead leftists that persist in cluttering this blog with their offal.

And CincyJeff, I am grateful to you for your thoughtful comment about John McCain. He's a genuine war hero, no doubt about it, and anyone who stoops to call him a "war criminal" deserves to have their butt kicked while bent over.

And to the pro-abortion cut and run socialist who made a disparaging remark or two about FDT: brace yourself, babycakes. Fred will win the nomination. You might as well give up on the old tired saw of "lazy." The dem/libs tried that ad nauseum against Ronaldus Magnus to no avail. It was specious then, and it's specious now. You guys are scared to death of FDT--and you should be.
