Crowley's Feeling Better

Councilman David Crowley broke his pelvis in two places in a bicycle accident Saturday. He was trying to avoid one pothole and hit another.

He expects to be on crutches for a month to six weeks.

"Other than a lot of pain and crutches," he said in a memo to colleagues, "I am fine."

The potholes have been fixed.

Why in the world are we spending money on potholes when there are underfunded museums out there?!

Crowley should be more careful.

This would not have happened if he were at one of our fine museums.

Perhaps that pothole wouldn't have been there if Crowley and other Councilmen hadn't wasted $800,000 on Leslie Ghiz's #1 priority for 2007, throwing more money at the Slave Center to make Daddy Pepper happy.

Glad he's OK. We need him well and fighting the good fight on Council. Keep up the great work!

One of the Fiscal Five probably sabotaged the manholes on purpose....
considering how many times their feet are in their mouths I'm surprised one of them hasn't fallen over-
Ghiz's bottom would cushion her fall, Cole's hair would break her fall, and Bortz's Groucho Marx eyebrows would hit the ground before he did
Those 5 will all be takin a fall come this fall

According to ghiz's campaign promise's, her #1 priorty was going to be cutting the salary of City Council. Now that she is on Council - did that ever happen? Did she ever bring that up? no, but I'm sure she cashed all those checks.
