Open call for endorsements
It never hurts, really, to have too many endorsements. At least that's the theory behind Sherrod Brown's latest campaign strategy.
The Brown campaign announced in a release today that it's opening the floodgates so that everyone in Ohio can personally endorse Brown for the U.S. Senate. The Lorain Democrat is challenging Republican Sen. Mike DeWine of Cedarville in the Nov. 7 election.
That's right. You don't have to be a newspaper or a union or even a well-known politician. Starting today, ANYONE can record their own endorsement of Brown by using a computer mic or calling one of two phone numbers (what, no 513 area code?!)

Though the link to the Hamilton County Young Democrats' website is includes the wrong web address, the endorsement of David Pepper by the Hamilton County Young Dems is completely legitimate and carries more weight than one would think.
Our current membership includes two members of local city councils. Former HCYD President Brigid Kelly sits on Norwood city council and current HCYD President James Wolf sits on Mount Healthy City Council. Other members include the Executive Director of the Hamilton County Democratic Democratic Party, the deputy Executive Director of the Hamilton County Democratic Party, campaign staffers from most every Democratic Candidate this year, as well as many young attorneys, teachers, bankers, union organizers, journalists, college students, etc.
As you can see, the Hamilton County Young Democrats are not only the future of the Party, but are also the present. Though I understand the link in the website is bad, please don't underestimate our organization. If you don't know of our members yet, you soon will.
That last comment was suppossed to refer to our endorsement of Brown not Pepper. We have endorsed both and our links are on both sites incorrectly. This is not their fault, we recently switched web addresses.
