The mayor's new car is a...

When the ceremonial "first bus" pulls into the revamped Government Square hub Friday morning as the Withrow High School marching band leads the way, a special guest will be behind the wheel.

Mayor Mark Mallory has been undergoing hush-hush Metro training, readying himself to pilot one of Metro's 40 new buses into a parking bay in the Fifth Street for the grand unveiling.

Neither Metro not Mallory's spokesman wanted to discuss the plan for publication.

None the WeISER !!

You should have kept your mouth shut, as well !!

If your wRong wingnut fishwrap had a big announcement to make and planed the event on the riverfront you would be the guy to leak:

Wait till you see the fireworks from the bridge !!

PATHETIC !!

Anything to bust the Dem bubble !!

Who is this weirdo who feels the need to bold, italicize, and use multiple exclamation points?

It just makes people less inclined to read your comments because they look so odd.

Sounds like a great use of his time--more bs press events but tons of cancelled meetings with the community. When is City Hall going to get to work?

This is another reason to elect John Cranley to Congress.

Dear Mr. Mayor,
Please let me know the bus schedule.
I need to throw Dale under it now that Kimberly Hale is running for the 32nd seat.
I'm glad you found a job you can handle.
Your pal,
Timmie Burke

Just when in the hell is this half-baked Mayor going to get some real business, serious business done in this City? It's very obvious his property devaluing billboards aren't getting the message out to the criminals.

All I've seen him do is photo op, disrespect community leaders & volunteers by cancelling meetings or not outreaching to them at all & the best part - flubbing City Council Meetings. What's so hard about Roll Call-Suspension-Passage-Emergency-Approve & File?

Hopefully, the Jail4Dale people & the Hale for 32nd folks will be fully represented when he smashes the bus in the new terminus. Beware of the spirit of Kabaka. He has unfinished business.

This Mayor & this new City Manager - can everyone say CinOrleans? Pack your stuff & leave while you can! It's not too late to save yourself & your loved ones!

Isn't the Mayor on vacation (his own time) in August? I guess he can take flying lessons if he wants, or any pursuit that suits his fancy during that time.

Ah, you bashers of both the Mayor and his brother, never miss a chance to drag their name through the mud. All I know is we should be glad Luken never tried to drive a bus considering his well known love of the sauce.

Vacation? Being Mayor is a full time job. It's not like you get a summer break like high school.
