Post Poast: Hale takes on Mallory

Facing concerns that his questioned residency may cost him the election, Mike Poast will drop out as the Republican candidate for state representative, to be replaced on the ballot by Kimberly Hale.

Hale's entrance in the race also portends a more aggressive GOP attack on Dale Mallory, who was removed as West End Community Council president this year.

"Dale Mallory, with all of his problems," should be concerned, said Brad Greenberg of the Hamilton County Republican Party.

The 32nd Ohio House District is an open race, as incumbent Catherine Barrett, D-College Hill, faces term limits. The district historically votes 3-to-1 Democratic, and represents the central neighborhoods of Cincinnati, from Queensgate and Downtown on the river to College Hill and Hartwell on the northern city limits.

Mallory is the brother of Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory who, along with father William L. Mallory Sr., has represented the district for much of the last 40 years. The Mallory name was daunting, Poast said.

"I have a tough enough fight with someone who already has his name out there," Poast said today.

But Mallory has been on the receiving end of attacks from his West End neighbors over his support of the Citylink social services mall. Hale was part of a neighborhood coalition that removed Mallory as president of the West End Community Council because of his support for a controversial social services mall.

The Enquirer later reported that Mallory, then a consultant for the Cincinnati Empowerment Corp., was billing the federally funded agency for his work on the project.

Hale's entrance into the race is likely to push that issue to the forefront of the campaign. The 38-year-old is president of the Dayton Street Association in the West End.

"I have a lot of optimism and a really strong grass roots group of supporters," said Hale, business manager of a West side graphic company who also owns a real estate investment company.

The candidate switch also helps Republicans dispel an issue dogging Poast's campaign – a question of whether he lives in the House district. He lived in College Hill when he qualified as a candidate but moved two months later to North College Hill.

When Poast went to vote for himself in the spring primary, he discovered election officials wouldn't let him vote in the race. Poast, 32, a cooking oil salesman, was told his house was just outside the district's boundary.

The GOP is expected to approve Hale as Poast's replacement at its Aug. 21 executive committee meeting, Greenberg said.

Mallory couldn't immediately be reached.

No way the Greedy Oil Party candidate could win with two years of prep work in a good year for the GOP. No one from the Party of Corruption can ever beat the esteemed Mallory name.

If my Green Township neighbors are any indication, this is going to be a GOP bloodbath worse than anything imaginable, not counting the REAL bloodbath in Iraq.

Steve Chabot- gone!

Phil Heimlich- gone!

Bill Seitz- gone!

No Republican will win statewide.
You heard it here first. John Cranley AND Ted Strickland BOTH carry Green Township.

The Republican precinct guy down the street from me has said he is voting Cranley, Strickland, Pepper, Sherrod Brown. But he said he will be forced to put the Hindlick- Combover, and Taftwell signs in his yard because he fears reprisals.

I told him the local GOP does not have enough bullets, real or imagined, to go around.

Never attempt to dumb down a woman of purposeful conviction.

It's not the wisest thing to do in any situation. I have full faith & plenty of confidence in Kimberly Hale to finally put paid to Jail4Dale & the decades of Mallory deceit & corruption.

If anyone is going to go toe to toe with Dale, it's Hale. This part of the election is over before it gets started.

Too bad Poast didn't move out of the way earlier. Never saw him, never heard his platform. This really hurt people. Good bye, have a happy life selling cooking oil.

So what you're saying is Marc Dann can beat Betty Montgomery, Jennifer Brunner can beat Greg Hartmann, and Mary Taylor won't pull of a win against Barbara Sykes? The three Republicans are not only more qualified by far, but also out raising their opponents 2 to 1. I don't care what letter is by your name, voters (not the same people that did in '04 mind you, this is a midterm) will be seeing ads everywhere and the candidate with more money will prove why they are better than their opponent, and fortunately the candidates more qualified and with better fundraising tools are Republicans.

And if the Mallory name is esteemed, I feel sorry for your party.

Another day, another Kimball Perry post that does not apologize for his recent lies about the Enquirer's position on publishing the results of privately funded polls. Come on Kimball. Just be honest and tell us that in your eagerness to be loved by Phil, you simply screwed up. How were you to know the Enquirer has published candidates' polls in the past? Nobody expects you to read that crappy paper.

The 32nd is a Democratic district to the core. The biggest thing Hale has going for her is that Dale Mallory is a criminal.

Sorry, Joe-Joe, RMH and DP. Our crack wizard at Timboville did not run a candidate against Seitz so we have BS for another two.
Chabot --- zapped
Heimlich --- zapped
Seitz --- in tact
But, what the hay, you needed him to help get Dalesther out of the CEC fry pan and into the fire of the campaign.
Strickland, Brown, Dave Pepper and CranLuken I'll buy to support.
Kind of a surprise that you are going to get hammered on your lies and misquotes and win. For once your older brother may get to do something about being real standup. It cost you the esteemed name. No one would give you the confidence vote Daddy and M3 pushed on. When the BullS@&t gets too deep over in Green L wander over to Centurion and we'll cook out. Or you non-Dayton street residents only hang with the 3 Centurions, Dr. Dean and Republican advocates?

Dale Mallory got booted from the West End Community Council by over 76% of the vote. Months after being removed from office, he had the balls to clean out and close down the community council's bank account.

Dale Mallory is a criminal.

Check out the timeline for Dale'e check cashing crime.

During last year's campaign between Mark Mallory and David Pepper, David bragged about his support from Dayton Street Neighborhood Association president Kimberly Hale-McCarty. David lost the election but he never called off his female attack dog from Dayton Street.

From the very beginning, the people have seen through the hate-Mallory Klan's charade. They haven't been tricked by the Enquirer and mainstream white media.

The hate-Mallory Klan predicted that Eve Bolton would defeat Dale Mallory. They were wrong.

The hate-Mallory Klan tried to impeach Dale from his position as West End Community Council president and failed.

The hate-Mallory Klan claimed that Dale had broken the law and promised he would be investigated, indicted, and sent to prison. Didn't happen.

Along the way, the hate-Mallory Klan has engaged in fraud, forgery, and theft but very few people have noticed. The white media certainly hasn't investigated or reported this.

So, now, with the help of Brad Greenberg, the hate-Mallory Klan is back. (Since when did the GOP start endorsing thieves?) They now promise that Hale-McCarty, with help from her stay-at-home dad husband Chrissy, will defeat Dale in November. What a bunch of confused morons!

What will it take to wake these fools up. Dale will smash Kim in November. Period. The sad part is that the hate-Mallory Klan will keep coming up with more lies, smears, and distortions, even after they get served with another loss. And, unfortunately, the Enquirer, Kimball Perry, and the white media will keep publishing their lies.

Why is the media so gullible? They aren't! They are willing pawns in this game. They know that dirty David Pepper is orchestrating this whole thing and they want to help him however they can. I guess they feel like they didn't do enough to promote his candidacy. Go figure!

Enjoying Nate's comments. Very racial. Very threatening. In fact, it's the exact same garbage Harold Cleveland accused the impeachMallory people of - racism.

File/Save/Archive for future use.

Someone needs to stick that sock back in Nate's mouth before someone else goes to prison for a very long time. Living in a dope smoke world will make him run his mouth.

All of Westender100's facts are documented at the impeachmallory.blogspot.com blog and/or the notocitylink.com website.
The most outrageous lie told by Nate is that Dale wasn't impeached. He was. He sued . He lost. The West End Community Council has been meeting monthly with excellent attendance since Dale was impeached in February. There are video records, sign in sheets, treasurer reports, minutes. Everything is documented and transparent.
Mr. Livingston does not live in the West End. Mr. Livingston worked with Ken Lawson on Dale's two failed lawsuit. Mr. Livingston is a Mallory lackey.
Please read Nate's black blog and then read the impeach mallory blog and the notocitylink website.
It will be clear that Dale's opposition is credible and backed by facts.
Nate's a hate monger with no factual basis for his outrageous claims.

Nate is a paranoid freak. Pepper has nothing to do with this stuff.

Let's not forget the paid thugs that are attempting to silence the anti-mallory crowd.
Junebug and the city hall hitman threatened to kill people at the Jan and Feb WECC meeting. Their crackhead posse asked "where do we get paid" at their arrival.
The Dale/Junebug/Nate ties are well documented. Nate worked on Dale's suits, and runs his hate blog attacks. Dale appointed JB and hitman to the EZ for his EZ kickback.
The string of junebug threats and reprisals is long and tied directly to Dale.
The world is waking up to this nonsense. It will bring down Dale, the Mallorys and the Beattys that are not yet in jail.

If the republicans ever had a chance at the 32nd it would be right now. Dale is that bad a candidate. I wonder what Sam Herd got for dropping out. Everything has been give to Dale. He doesn't deserve one bit of it.

To say Dale is a "bad" candidate is a gross understatement. He is truely a terrible choice. He's an unemployable druggie thief that is a congenital liar.
If his name were not Mallory, he would be in jail for his life choices.
Kimberly Hale is a hard working community leader that is trying to make Cincinnati a better place.
Dale Mallory profits from keeping Cincinnati in poverty.
