Hartmann meets and greets in Washington

Hamilton County Clerk of Courts Greg Hartmann, 39, is trying to inject some youthful energy and a positive vibe into Ohio's Republican Party.

In a state that has been singled out as ground zero for GOP corruption, it never hurts to have someone with a "fresh face" and a positive attitude, he explained.

Hartmann is the Republican Party's nominee for secretary of state.

He was in Washington today to meet members of the Ohio congressional delegation, such as Reps. Deborah Pryce, Steve LaTourette, Ralph Regula and Jean Schmidt.

Hartmann also squeezed in time to grab coffee with The Enquirer's Washington Bureau so he could discuss his race.

Essentially, Hartmann says he's the "fresh face" voters who clammor for a change can turn to. On his Web site, he calls himself a member of the "next generation of Republican leadership."

He faces Democrat Jennifer L. Brunner in the race this fall.

Doesn't his family have a ranch by the bush-ies in tex ?

Didn't someone buy him a spot in ham county, just like deters the cheater ?

I think deters family donated 100,000 to the party in the concealed contribution crooked cronies early campaign days ?

Willie,

It seems to me that most McEwen supporters were really Democrats--especially those so-called Republicans in Anderson Township. Just look at how they are unable to accept defeat ala Gore and the way they mindlessly attack the true conservative Republican ala Kerry.

Look at all the Right to Life endorsements Hartmann has on his website and then look at one of his very pregnant employees smoking at the basement entrance to the Hamilton County Courthouse, seen by every judge, attorney and employee, as they pass in and out of the building. Does it bother him to see a fetus smoking through the mother?

Yes anonymous, maybe he should fire her. That wouldn't cause a lawsuit.

I really have to laugh!

That's the first thing I did when I saw the Northwestern Soccer Team hazing photos!

As a girls soccer forward myself I get kicked 15 times hard every single game. For real.

I look at those pictures the same way I did the Abu Garib photos.

Torture?

HA!

You want TORTURE - play girls' soccer!!
