We are Fam-a-lee

The 31 Cincinnati city council candidates have, by and large, been traveling in packs from one community forum to another, spending more time with each other than with their own families.

So on Saturday, two candidates hosted invited all candidates, from all three parties, to what was essentialy an end-of-campaign cookout in a parking lot at the corner of Montgomery Road and Kennedy Avenue in Kennedy Heights.

Democrat candidates Eve Bolton and Wendell Young sponsored the event as sort of a late-afternoon break from racing from one campaign stop to another. They invited all of their fellow candidates - Democrat, Republican and Charterite - to stop by to have a hot dog and take a breather before hitting the campaign trail again.

About 20 candidates stopped by during the two-hour tripartisan mixer. Democrat council candidate Samantha Herd could be seen chatting it up with Republican John Eby. As they talked, Charter candidate Chris Bortz introduced Democrat John Smith to his wife as "the next mayor of Silverton, as of Tuesday.''

Bolton said that when she and Young planned the event, it only made sense to invite the other candidates.

"We've all been in this together,'' Bolton said. "We've all run the gauntlet. We're all battle-weary. We've all come to know each other really well. So it's just a bunch of friends getting together.''

It's great that Chris Bortz's wife appears in his campaign ad. She's really relevant to the election.

Bolton's a woman, Howard.

True, Bolton is a woman, but she could pass for a guy any time. Don't beat-up Howard too much, It was an easy mistake to make. At least he is reporting on more candidates and issues that Korte has. Keep up the good work Howard.

Did they all hold hands and sing "kum-bay-a?"

Or did Bolton make them sing ""look for the union label?"

No, it is "Crybabby Pepper" singing that one because he failed to get the AFL-CIO endorsement.

"Chicken Little O Fool Cop"

You have been told:

"You have "no power, little man"

Start talking politics or

"I shall Ban you"

I have the power:

It takes but one promise from me and you shall surrender or:

"Pull the trigger, like your leader."

Now get back to politics.

Do you understand me, son !

Sounds like "Chicken Little O Fool Cop" is getting a little insecure.

"Am I really annoying?"

"Am I really annoying?"

"Am I really annoying?"

"I'm not trying to be..."

"I'm not trying to be..."

"I'm not trying to be..."

Your just like the "Wrong Wing" "Talk Big", "No Action", then "Denial".

Whomever the person is that keeps putting random words in quotes is showing signs of being mentally disturbed. The good thing is, I don't think anyone is taking them seriously.

Well we know no one takes you serious.

Now get back on topic.

Talk about "Politics"

Or, you to shall be "Banned".
