Endorsements galore!

With the election now three weeks off, the endorsements are piling in -- to the benefit of Mark Mallory.

Mallory, a state senator seeking to edge David Pepper in a bid to become Cincinnati's next mayor, picked up personal endorsements from two more elected officials Monday. Hamilton County Treasurer Robert A. Goering, a Republican, and Auditor Dusty Rhodes, a Democrat, citing Mallory's ability to work with elected leaders of other political party affiliations for the good of the people."

Mallory, a Democrat, already has endorsements from former Mayor Roxanne Qualls and a bipartisan list of present and former state lawmakers. Pepper's endorsements include former astronaut and U.S. Sen. John Glenn.

A wrapup of today's other endorsement announcements:

Go Mallory Go! More non city resident endorsements. Does anyone see a theme here? Mark Mallory knows more non city residents than actual residents. And yes Dusty Rhodes hates the city of Cincinnati. Next I guess Mallory will get Fidel Castro. Go Mallory Go!

Somebody help me! Which Cincinnati neighborhood does John Glenn live in, again? I guess you could call his home a suburb of Pleasant Ridge, right? {wink}

Honestly. David Pepper's supporters have no class. Whenever someone endorses Mark Mallory, Pepper's Puppets seek to cast dispersions on the endorser. What they should do is congratulate Mallory and move on. That's what Mallory and his supporters have done on those rare occasions when Pepper actually receives an endorsement.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Dusty Rhodes is the whitest guy I know in Hamilton County. His endorsement of Mallory says an awful lot.

Nate, you are right!

o felix culpa...if you want to deal with the issue of campaign violations, I would think the big dog (Dave Pepper's violations)would be of more concern than Laketa Cole's.

cotsr jr- your own candidate used folks outside the city as "endorsers" in his fundraising letters but when Mallory has endorsers from our area and our state you take exception? When Mallory wins you'll be SOL since you're hoping to hitch your wagon to Pepper's star(which is not shining too brightly).

OFC-you're as rude as Nate. Deane/Smoke Eater-get a life instead of spending all your time on blogs. For a while this blog was free of the crap all of you write, now we have to wade through your BS here to get to anyone else's (substantive) comments. What will you all bitch about AFTER Nov.8? Probably you'll complain about whoever's been elected. Just leave if you hate everyone here so much, or run for office yourselves.

Maloory lives in the West End.

To felix culpa said: the real question we should all be asking here is why did Six Acres Bed and Breakfast in College Hill remove their endorsement from their website? Can we assume one of the candidates has been caught molesting Jewish boys on City property!?

Anon's response: If a candidate has been caught molesting Jewish boys on City property, it would have to be Mayoral Candidate David Pepper, since he is the one who accepts the actions of pedophiles who worked for and won't actively speak out agaist the same one who endorsed him...Indicted Child Molestor - Wendell Walker.

I think o felix culpa has gay tendencies, or he might be gay given his comments.

Mallory does not live in the West End. He has a place in Mt. Airy where he resides. His campaign committee and voter registration has him living with his parents in the West End, but this is not true.

The sad tyhing is that i have to read blogs to find out what is gounig on with the mayor race. If i left it up to local television media, and the Enquire's print i would know nothing

To that last post-for God's sake don't rely on blogs as your source of decision making! Read the Post,CityBeat for alternative coverage to the Enquirer. Save blogs for entertainment and don't accept anything on a blog as Gospel.
