The New Blog and Cincinnati.com websites are terrible! From a design perspective there is not much contrast, the font type is hard to read, the colors are mis-matched, the headlines and body compete and don't have margins, ect.. This is a terrible step back for Cincinnati.com, but then again you don't have much competition from the other media outlets: wcpo.com or wlwt.com... The Enquirer has never been much of a trend setter...

I hope you look into this.
My husband and I our outraged.

We are very concerned about crime in our neighborhood and atteneded a meeting at District 4 Thursday night.

Council woman Leslie Ghiz was there, we think, as a resident.
We were all happy to see the news there covering our main concern, a burglar in North Avondale,
but this woman WHO IS ON COUNCIL was more concerned speaking up saying how bad it was for the news to be at our meeting!

We invited Channel 12 to cover it, hoping some coverage would lead to a Crimestoppers tip.
Can this woman's eye be MORE off the ball?

We were laughing and disgusted by Ghiz at the same time.
She just lost our group's vote.
Note to Ghiz: any publicity, ESPECIALLY when you are hoping to get a criminal off the streets IS GOOD.
Ever hear of the smash hit show in it's 12th year "America's Most Wanted?"

what's with the lunatic pastors?

McCain rejects Texas pastor's backing after Hitler remark
John McCain changed course, rejecting the preacher's endorsement after his comments about Hitler carrying out "God's will" were made public. (Boston Globe)

cincycapell, what's wrong with you? Did Jeff Capell reject your advances? Maybe that's why you've become a cyber-stalker.

The Anonmyous Bold Person now has nowhere to spew his hatred without getting his ass kicked. Your days of cowardice are over fool!

Hate the new blog set-up. Sorry! Too complicated to follow. This blog format you already use presently is much better. Please reconsider it.

"Anonymous said...The Anonmyous Bold Person now has nowhere to spew his hatred without getting his ass kicked. Your days of cowardice are over fool! 6:30 PM, May 23, 2008"

Does Anonmyous = Anonymous ?

Typical, spineless, annoy-ing, wRong wingnut whacko spewing the elephant dung propaganda !

When they don't like what you have to say, you too will have nowhere to spew your hatred !

We find it humorous that the, so called, 'free press' embarks a journey to suppress access and free and open dialog by minimizing the opportunity to provide linkable evidence and free expression !

But hey, thanks for considering us your NUMBER 1 threat !

Stay tuned you may find the 'free press' emerging that will put the final nail into the established, so called, media !

The 'fishwRaps' new blog is PATHETIC !

The readership shall drop !

There will be several opportunities to get the opportunity for 'free expression' in our local political market !

Who knows what the future brings !

We predict a readership decline in the partisan print 'fishwRap' and now their blog will become as popular as that wRong wingnut whacko rhetoric spewed by XXX judge Tryintofoolyou !

PATHETIC 'family values' !

HAD ENOUGH, VOTE DEMOCRAT 2008 !

Why do you replace something that was popular and NOT broken with this convoluted, complex, hard to get to, ugly boilerplate crud. Who makes stupid decisions like this one? Is anyone in charge at the Enquirer? Does anyone have the nerve to speak up when you produce garbage or suppress good ideas?

at 7:06 AM, May 26, 2008 Anonymous Anonymous said...

why does The Enquirer's front page still link to this page?

Until you (regrettably) launch the new version, how about saving a step and redirecting bloggers without this pitstop in Purgatory?

Can't find anything after I clicked the
"here" in the first announcement of the
move. Looks like it moved right off
cincinnati.com entirely. The space,
such as it was, had little more than logos and catagories, none of them
the Poitics Blog. Bring back the blog
we could read!

PLEASE bring back the old POLITICS EXTRA page. The new one is difficult to locate and read. I do not want to register for it, either. Nothing to hide, ... just a bit disappointed that The Cincinnati Enquirer would change something that did not need changed.

I checked the blog for the first time in a year and it is as if I never left. Bold face person is still saying the same thing over and over. Never has anything new and only calls people names and throws out insults and the same one-liners. How lame!!!!!
