Big doings at the state Dem convention

Marc Dann was excommunicated, as much as Democrats can do that.

Read Howard Wilkinson's story on that here

Even Hillary Clinton's own delegates want her to get out of the race.

How Pathetic, you have an African-American turncoat and a deep-pocket party flip-flopper supporter to pass judgement on Hillary !

What would the numbers look like at the National Covention when all delegates from Fla., MI., vote for Hillary ?

With regard to the state convention vote, it is another example of the back room spine-less deals !

What Dann did in his personnal life has nothing to do with AG !

The Dem's may find their party is more devided than they think if they cut Hillary off at the knees !

There may be several protest votes and the party will be scratching their head: 'How could this happen' !

Take heed, you have been warned !

The Republicans want Dann's hide, but we noticed the Washington Republicans never made a peep about US Senator David Vitter(R) Louisiana after he was exposed as a regular client of the Washington Madame prostitution ring. Vitter refused to step down and is still a LA senator.

By rights, both Dann and Vitter should have stepped down.

Bottom line: the state Democrats showed Dann the back door. Hypocritical Repubs looked the other way on their boy.

What Dann did in his personal life is not the issue. He knowingly allowed sexual harrassment and discrimination to take place in the Attorney General's Administration.

What evidence do you have of that ?

He was involved in a consensual relationship, Period !

Speaking of hypocrisy, Ted Kennedy is still in the Senate.

More Dem hypocrisy: claiming what Dann did was in his personal life when it obviously carried over into the office, but saying Vitter should step down even though no one has ever claimed it entered the office.

My verdict: both should go. The unavoidable facts are that Dann, who slept with his scheduler, did carry his indiscretions over from his personal life to the office, but Vitter, who hired a call girl, did not.

indeed! why should Dann step down?!
Barney Frank had a "call Boy" ring operating from his apartment and of course Bill "Big Kahuna" Clinton did his thing with a somewhat overweight intern and the DEMS didn't call for those 2 to step down.
Your party has no moral compass,Marc Dan.Why should they pretend to have found it now and force you out? Who do they think they're foolin'?!

not that Malia has ever bothered to get the actual details behind her stories and instead just likes to crib her stories from the liberal Washington Post and NYTimes. Had she any knowledge of the government, she would know that the R's voted against the tabling of a motion to reconsider. In essesnce... they voted to revote. I'm not entirely certain how that is voting against mom's but I would be happy to hear Malia's version of that.
I'm pretty certain she could be the boldfaced typer....

Jeffy, you wanna take a look at all of the reTHUGlican sex offenders out there? There are too many to list on this forum. We had to create a database to keep track of all of them:

http://www.republicansexoffenders.com/

Here's a good one:

"Republican U.S. Justice Department official John David R. Atchison, 53, an assistant U.S. attorney from the northern district of Florida, has been arrested on suspicion of traveling to Detroit over the weekend to have sex with a 5 year old child. An undercover officer posed as a mother offering her child to Atchison for sex, according to police. In deposition, detectives said Atchison suggested the mother tell her daughter that "you found her a sweet boyfriend who will bring her presents." The undercover detective expressed concern about physical injury to the 5-year-old girl as a result of the sexual activity. Detectives said Atchison responded, " I am always gentle and loving; not to worry, no damage ever, no rough stuff ever. I only like it soft and nice." The undercover detective asked how Atchison can be certain of no injury. He responded, "Just gotta go slow and very easy. I've done it plenty," according to detectives. "

Want a few more, Jeffy? Here:

"Republican Homeland Security deputy press secretary Brian J. Doyle , 55, was arrested Tuesday night, April 4, 2006 and charged with trying to "seduce'' a 14-year-old Polk County girl with graphic talk over the Internet. On March 12, Doyle contacted a 14-year-old girl whose profile was posted on an AOL Web site, according to the Sheriff's Office release. Initially, detectives thought Doyle was posing as someone working for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. But they soon learned otherwise when he sent a picture to the girl over the Internet wearing an official ``DHS tag'', Judd said.
-
The former head of the Michigan Federation of Young Republicans, Michael Flory, admitted Tuesday that he sexually abused a colleague during a national convention in Cleveland last summer
-
Republican legislator Ted Klaudt was charged with raping girls under the age of 16.
Republican city councilman Joseph Monteleone Jr. was found guilty of fondling underage girls.
Republican Township Supervisor Robert Holland stepped down amid accusations that he sexually assaulted a 92-year-old nursing home resident in 2006. Holland, a 77-year-old Republican, pleaded guilty to aggravated indecent assault and related charges and is now serving a two- to four-year prison sentence in Bucks County.
-
Republican congressional aide Jeffrey Nielsen was arrested for having sex with a 14-year old boy.
Republican County Commissioner Patrick Lee McGuire surrendered to police after allegedly molesting girls between the ages of 8 and 13-
Republican prosecutor Larry Corrigan was arrested for soliciting sex from 13-year old girls. "
