Driehaus Fundraiser Tonight

The invitation doesn't say how much it'll cost you, but Brian Garry's inviting people to a fund-raiser tonight in Clifton for Steve Driehaus, who's running for Congress.

It's at the home of Beverly Thomas and Michael Ramundo and lists former Gov. John Gilligan and former Congressman and Mayor David Mann as among the hosts.

It's 6-8 p.m. tonight. Call 513-221-5807 or e-mail mike@mcr-marketing.com

Is Marc Dann hosting again? Will he make it this time?

we had one of those fundraisers for Driehaus in Cheviot last nite. No body showed up. He owes us for the expenses. Maybe we can get it from the Marc Dann money.

Interesting that Driehaus would attend a fundraiser hosted by Brian Garry, a pro-boycott radical who once had Ken Lawson represent him in court becuase he was charged with punching a police horse during the riots that Garry was participating in. If I were Chabot, I'd make an issue of this. Garry is worse than Rev. Wright, and Driehaus should be ashamed of himself.

Right-wingers sure do hate "radicals." Except when those radicals are endorsing John McCain.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, check out the new video from Brave New Films (which includes footage from Cincinnati).

If Driehaus had a mass murderer, a war criminal, a serial liar,a series of adulterers, and a pedophile host a series of fund-raisers, he would just be catching up to Chabot.

anon 6:35 is an idiot. Brian was not only acquitted of that charge, it was levied during the Trans Atlantic Business Dialogue protests which were pre-riot.

Anon 6:35 should acknowledge his physical attraction to Brian and stop pretending s/he isn't hot and bothered for him.

Isn't Brian Garry a known radical leftist?

Look at the 7:47 poster trying his best to provoke...you are one angry and delusional person. Go back to MoveOn or Michael Moore's website to post that garbage.

Hey anon 8:56,

I stand corrected. Garry was arrested for assault on a horse while protesting a meeting of multinational corporations in Cincinnati. Ken Lawson got him acquitted. This was BEFORE he participated in the riots.

But thanks for inadvertently making my case for me about Driehaus. Why would he allow someone like Garry to host a fundraiser for him?! Is Driehaus pro-boycott and pro-riot? Does Driehaus hate corporations? Does GE Aircraft and P & G know about Driehaus' affiliation wiht anti-globalization radicals?

Isn't Brian Garry the one who faked a break-in at his campaign office?

This looney sounds right up Little Hands' alley. With friends like Marc Dann and Brian Garry...

Hey 10:01,

It's me, 7:47pm again. I noticed that you did not dispute the substance of my comments.

So, that means you admist that GWB is a mass murderer and war crminal and that Mark Foley is a pedophile, and that these people (and more) have helped Chabot raise money?

HAD ENOUGH DEPRAVED DANN DEMOCRATS?

RE-ELECT STEVE CHABOT AND JEAN SCHMIDT IN 2008!

I attended the fundraiser last night and it was a great success. It was a well attended gathering of socially conscience progressives who participated in intelligent and thoughtful conversation with Steve Driehaus. Everyone enjoyed themselves and everyone opened thier pocketbooks.

Brian Garry needs to go away and stop pretending that he is relevant. The Party never liked him or Lynch and he needs to realize that he is better off palling around with the DoC than those of us who don't wear tinfoil on our heads.

Wonder what Steve told these "socially conscience (sic) progressives" when they asked about his anti-abortion position?

Do you suppose he just gave them a wink and a nod?

Steve Driehaus is a human slug.
