Warren County 2004, revisited

Jon Craig reports in Sunday's Enquirer:

It’s one of the lingering mysteries of the 2004 presidential election.

In a key county in Southwest Ohio – amid vague references to “homeland security” – officials locked everyone else out of the board of elections as they counted punch-card ballots. President Bush emerged with more than 72 percent of the votes in Warren County, helping him narrowly win Ohio – and a second term.

Secrecy surrounding the count galvanized bloggers, anti-Bush activists and conspiracy theorists from around the globe. To this day, the lockdown is cited as evidence of an election stolen from Sen. John Kerry and the Democrats.

Now with another presidential election coming, The Enquirer, through public-records requests and interviews, can unravel the story of what happened on the night of Nov. 2, 2004 – and how officials tried to spin the event afterwards.

In response to all the liberals who are going to cry that the election is stolen, here is all you need to know:

President George Bush won. Twice. Get over it!

Now that you have some experience getting the "scoop", pay close attention to how Hillary steals this election.
Obama won't realize what hit him until it's too late.
Do I hear "super delegates"?

the moral of the story is this:
if a democrat loses the general election for the presidency then hanky-panky was afoot by the republicans...a big thank you to al gore for creating and wreaking havoc in 2000...you've set the new standard
for all elections to come as long as the sun rises in the east...way to go,bud-

CincyJeff, the election was stolen and there was massive disenfranchisement of African American voters. I didn't vote for Kerry but making sure that our elections have integrity is a nonpartisan responsibility.

There are many other questions left unanswered and maybe Carl Wiesel and the Enquirer will look into them in another 4 years.

Total number of votes received by Bush in Gahanna, Ohio,Ward 1B: 4,258

Total number of ballots cast in Gahanna, Ohio, Ward 1B: 638

Total number of votes by which George W. Bush won Ohio: 118,775

Total number of ballots, mostly from Democratic precincts, that were rejected and remain uncounted: 92,672

Estimated number of provisional ballots, many from Cuyahoga County, which includes Cleveland and other Democratic centers, that were ruled invalid and not counted: 35,000

8-12 hour lines in African American districts only. I guess you are a coincidence theorists.

The recount was severly flawed and people went to jail for irregularities. Then despite a court order to protect the ballots for historical purposes 56 of 88 Counties destoryed the ballots.

Fact. Bush was not elected in 2000; he was appointed president by the Supreme Court. The right wing extremist COAST nut case at 11:52 is going to be crying when the Dems sweep every state in the Nation this fall. There is no way that McSame can win, running on Bush's platform as the economy sinks into deep recession and the dollar tanks.

Both Coast and his Blue Chip Hitler's Youth have made themselves beyond irrelevant.

FRANK YOUNG NEEDS TO BE SUBPOENAED-FROM ONE OF THE DOCUMENTS:

Oct 13, 2004 Email from Warren Co emergency Services (wcdes2@wcoh.net) to CJ Couch RE: Nov 2 update:
CJ,

It is our intention to watch the election from home, but alas, that may not occur. We will not be occupying the EOC, however, the room is ready to go (always is) and the appropriate people notified to be ready if needed.

-snip

As for election preparations, I could tell you, but then I would have to kill you! We have made a geat deal of plans and preps, probably many of the same things other counties are informing you about.

Remember, Vote early, Vote often.

People need to go to jail and be held personally liable over this debacle. Since Chimpy & Co. have effectively voided the Constitution, there really is nothing too cruel for the Repugs.

Once again, "CincyCapell" has to get attention fo herself by pretending to be Jeff Capell. How pathetic. Capel's organization just had its largest meeting ever, and COAST, you may recall, just led one successful campaign to stop a DemocRAT government money-grab and is working on another. CincyCapell is making herself irrelevant.

Oh boo hoo.

This post was nothing but a bunch of innuendo suggesting that something sinister happened when, in fact, the press just got its feeling hurt because they got shut out.

Everything is there, through information requests and interviews, but they actually had to WORK TO GET IT!!! IMAGINE - THE PRESS HAVING TO WORK FOR ONCE?

And since they had to work to get a story, they now feel as thought that someone has to pay.

So they plant seeds of doubt about Republicans and stealing the election.

Here's the real scoop, press guys.

The Warren County Board of Elections is always secretive and very unhelpful - for Republicans and Democrats alike. They do not like giving anyone information, even if it's public. It has nothing to do with partisanship and everything to do with incompetence and no care of public service. It has been this way for many many years.

Stop giving innuendo in your post and stop trying to paint partisanshio on every god-forsaken thing - you guys think you sell papers by trying to pit Republicans and Democrats against each other, when there is common ground here.

I'm sure the final count of 71% for Bush in Warren is accurate and fair (even if the Warren County BOE were jerks about it). I am also sure that Warren County needs to clean house in its BOE. And the press needs to be more objective.

Jeff Capell at 7:56,

Nice try at an anonymous comment, replete with the purposeful misspelling. Your telltale writing 'style' is so obvious that it can't be missed.

The American Nazi Party (your spiritual brethren) has been increasing membership too Jeff, but that doesn't make them relevant either. COAST is completely out of power, irrelevant and out of favour. Your candidate's are toast. The Dems control the County now, Rothenberg is a wack-job who cannot win, and Hartmann will be voted down 2-1 every time.

And you keep getting humiliated in court Jeff, the latest was Si winning the lawsuit against him last week. Just like he cleaned your clock when your 'big victory' was sending a letter to HamCo employees homes-which you could have done without a lawsuit! You looked like a real lunatic in those interviews on the news Jeff, trying to put a positive spin on your pathetic loss.

I'll be out here Jeffypoo, hounding your every move. Calling you and your right wing lies out. Every time.

No more soup for you.

Am I missing anyone from the COAST political corpse tally? Chris Finney's butt-boy Jeff Capell can't put a positive spin on these crushing defeats by the voters.

Put your tin foil hats on, liberal moonbats, or President Bush can read your thoughts. Everyone have their hats on? Good.

Now go back to your America-hating ranting and raving. It's funny to watch liberals writhe in agony over the fact that George W. Bush beat their inept candidates TWICE.

Whoa, CincyCapell. Sorry, I didn't realize it was "that time of the month."

We'll chat in another 3-4 days.

And BTW, this isn't Jeff. He has way more friends than you.

Take a Midol and come back when you're feeling better.

We can tell how irrelevant Blue Chip Young Republicans are to you. That's why a liberal activist impersonates their president and discusses them here every week. And why they broke their club's attendance record at their last meeting, a meeting which got a lot of press for a young republican club. Those are definite signs of irrelevance.

On the legal front, the suit that was dismissed last week was the State lawsuit, which Jeff Capell was not a part of. The judge on that case was Norbert Nadel, who admitted he had a long standing personal and professional friendship with Leis, so in that case it was just a question of when it would be dismissed.

The case jeff capell filed was the Federal lawsuit, and that one is still active. Federal judges are given lifetime appointments and Simon leis can't bully his way around that court. You should learn your facts before continuing to humiliate yourself around here with your ignorance. Don't be so bitter that COAST and the Blue Chip YR's played a huge role in defeating your prized Issue 27.

This blog looks like three people talking to each other about stuff they've already complained to each other about.
Why stress yourself out like that?
Everyone here thinks they're right, everyone here thinks the other person is wrong. In reality none of your talking matters, the masses will do what the masses will do, all you can do is stand by and watch.
It's like figuring out who's God is right, just wait until you die, you'll figure it out then. No point in stressing yourself out till that time comes.

Going to give yourselves a heart attack.

Indeed.

Don't you love how the sore losers resort to calling judges in cases 'biased' when they lose their preposterous lawsuits? The COAST cabal is 0 for 2 on the legal front. Can't spin that one, can you Jeff? You can't spin the fact that every single one of your buttboy candidates are out of power, out of favour and unemployed.

That sounds pretty irrelevant to the rest of us.

So the dead-ender 19-percenter Bushies are all banding together in the Führerbunker where they will make a last stand. Big surprise. Misery loves company, doesn't it. And Jeff Capell, Chris Finney and company are some of the most miserable folks that you will ever have the displeasure to meet.

Enjoy being out of power and out of luck. you can scream and stamp your feet and shout, but there's nothing that you can do about it.

The Blue Chip Führerbunker. Filled with all of the local wingnuts. Huddled in the dark, as the Democrats close in. Desperately listening to Rush Limbaugh for comfort. Oberführer Finney keeps cyanide capsules with him at all times, he won't let the Democrats take him alive. Someone saw Oberleutnant Jeff Capell crying in a corner. HA!!!!

Love to see the libs play the "Nazi" card. It's their way of saying "I cannot refute the merits of your argument, so I will tar you by association with someone dead for decades who really was a socialist just like me."

I know who "CincyCapell" is and all I can say is that if you're near Spring Grove Cemetery and you feel the ground shake, it's the Founders of "Cincy Capell's" organization, er, committee, spinning in their graves over "CincyCapell"'s behavior. Anonymous smears, pretending to be someone else, personal attacks, you name it. That's not the good government they worked so hard for.

The Blue Chip Young Republicans would like to thank this CincyCapell stalker for impersonating our President and giving our club such great publicity around these parts.

Congressman Steve Chabot will be the main speaker at our next meeting on Monday, March 24th. The meeting starts at 7:00 PM and will be at Price Hill Chili. We hope to see everyone there, even the mentally disturbed cincycapell.

I love it when people always say "quite complaning because you lost" (referring to Dems). They then usually go on to call them conspiracy theorists.

The thing is that these claims are more than just conspiracies - individuals deeply involved in these voting processes have alleged that misconduct occured. As I have learned in life there are very few real coincidences, and it should be noted that somehow it is always ballots/voting misconduct in heavy minority and impoverished precincts.

This is not a GOP only issue, the Dems have their share as well...but it is naive for Republicans to look past these cases of voting misconduct simply because their candidate won. Demand responsible/respectable politics in America.

Jeff Capell won't sig his name to any blog posts for a while. His bosses at the GOP had to chew his *ss for putting his name on his posts, and embarressing the Party. You never learn, do you Jeff?

Actually, the only place Jeff Capell appears to post (at least under his own name) is at The Cincinnatus Standard blog. and funny, he appears to be still actively blogging there.

Cinyjeff = Jeff Capell.

The 'Cincinnatus Standard' is a koolaid drinking right wing wast of blog space. Jeff has to have all of his 'posts' there pre-aproved by his Oberführer/Party Commissar.

Poor little Jeff isonly allowed to play on 'aproved' sites.
