Mallory gets his chocolate fix

Who knew the mayor was such a chocoholic?

Mayor Mark Mallory was in Washington, D.C., today to lobby Ohio lawmakers for the city's top funding priorities. We met up with him to get the inside scoop.

But the conversation kept turning to ... chocolate?
Mayor: "For us, it's all about partnerships. I'm really big on partnerships."

(pause)

Mayor: "And chocolate. I'm really big on chocolate too."

Reporter: "You getting any good chocolate at these meetings?"

Mayor: "No, I haven't had any good chocolate lately. And it's, you know, two-thirty, three o'clock. That's chocolate time, you know?"

(Oh yes, we know.)

Luckily for Mallory, his next stop was at Rep. Jean Schmidt's office.

Not that the marathon-running congresswoman is known for a secret chocolate addition... But luckily, one of her staff members was on hand with a quick fix for the mayor -- a chocolate bunny from Esther Price.

The mayor didn't eat the whole bunny ... Just the ears.

Elite Security just backed a truck full of chocolate up to the Mallory residence.
Wonder what that's all about?

2009 can't get here quick enough. Time to get this telegenic, airheaded nothing out of the mayor's office.

Anyone who criticizes Barack is a racist and anyone who criticizes Hillary is a sexist. In order to get these poisonous politics of race and gender out of the Democratic Party they are going to have to nominate a white guy.

Wow, that is some hard hitting reporting right there. I'm not sure that Mallory can survive such a scandal. Great job Enquirer.

Malia is a joke. This is what you report on? No one cares. What about the closed session of the House over the terrorist surveillance program? I want the news not cutesy stories.

Hey, you got politics on my chocolate. No, you got chocolate on my politics.

Two great tastes that taste great together!

Somewhere in this story, there's something to blame on Bush.

I just know. Don't worry, I'll find it.

If you listen hard enough, you can hear the unhinged, America-hating Left:

Bush lied!
Chocolate bunnies died!

Glad to see the right-wing, bitter-end, 19-percent, relative-banging, Jesus-freaks have time to make snarky comments today.

I guess you're all home working on your resumes today, because you wouldn't ever do anything political at work. Never mind, one of Congressman Combover's trust-fund baby aides did just that.

Perhaps you're all home today working on your resumes because you know you'll be unemployed come November.

Or if you aren't one of the trust-fund babies so common to the Gang Of Pedophiles, perhaps you are desperately shredding any all evidence of your association with the corrupt enterprise that used to be a political party.

Your president has a 19% approval rating. National studies show that one in five (that's twenty percent, Bushies, keep your socks on) teenage girls have been a victim of incest.

Congratulations: your president is less popular than a sex crime.

Of course, with so many of you Repugs commiting sex crimes, that should come as no surprise.

So how is this Bush's fault? Well, between cutting taxes for the wealthiest 1 percent of Americans, looking the other way while the Greedy Oil Presidents run up the price of gas to almost $4/gallon, and spending a trillion dollars on the illegal war, the Gang Of Perverts runningthe White House has completely neglected American cities.

Turn the shredder off, stop working on your resume for a second, and get out and take a look around this city, this county, this state, and this country, all of which were in much, much, much better shape before January 20, 2001, than they are now.

5:19...glad to see the far left atheists are out in force doing what they do best...antagonizing people who go to church...bravo.
19%? Where'd you pull that number from? Don't answer that on second thought.Meantime, are you making a pilgrimage this summer to see where Madalyn Murray-O'Hare's remains were dug up a few years ago? Blog that trip for us,okeydokey?

Hey anon 5:19 Stop the Jesus bashing and personal attacks about someones hair. You are a real piece of ...work.

That's nice. 3M in Washington DC while the police raid a dump of nursing home. Where in the h#** were 3M's health & nursing home inspectors on this??? Forget about the State inspectors. They're absolutely worthless.

I'm in the canoe with Anon 11:33. 2009 can't get here soon enough to boot out this individual who claims to be Mayor. He's been a sorry joke since day one.

oh,and 5:19...let's touch on this quote of yours:
Of course, with so many of you Repugs commiting sex crimes, that wow!should come as no surprise.

what a week for you to make comment like that.Does the name Kristen and Spitzer alias Client #9 ring a bell? Hello?Anyone home? Is that an indictment being written in New York now?

Your party OWNS sex scandals,pal.
Tapping a foot in a bathroom stall can't begin to compare to $5,000 trysts with hookers not to mention the most famous scandal of all that culminated in DNA being found on a cheap blue dress.C'mon.Own up,dude.
Be proud to do so.

5:19 Obama will raise the tax on the 1%, but the majority of the tax hikes will come out of my hide; the middle class working guy.
When Obama tells me his plan of "change" is to get the unemployed off their butts and eliminate free handouts, I'll join your team.
The unemployed have no taxable income, so Obama is going to give them more and penalize me.
I'm still trying to figure out how to come up with the new CPS tax.

There's black corruption going on in this city. Maybe, Smitherman cal give Jesse a call to come and investigate?

Let's see Imus....have any charges ACTUALLY been brought yet? As always, the illegal bank monitoring, illegal wiretaps and illegal leaks of grand jury testimony to the press preceded any due process. But then again, this is a NEW America will live in. Bomb and indict first. Seek the truth later. All in the name of re-election.

This is the kind of thing The Enquirer reports on Mallopry...certainly don't want to be a racist so NEVER do any serious reporting on him.

Mallory likes chocolate. Maybe he means, like Ray Nagin in New Orleans, it's how the whole city should be.
