You are so full of schmidt, Period !

Heimlich is not as independent !

It is just that we have never found a wRong wingnut whacko worth voting for !

No one, or anybody, puts words in our mouth nor would the Dems claim that we speak for them !

WE DO NOT !

WE ARE:

Not authorized by any candidate, candidate's committee or political party !

But hey, thanks for making us your number 1 concern in emulation and discussion !

We be hat-pen'n' !

PATHETIC !

HAD ENOUGH, VOTE DEMOCRAT 2007 and little Jeffre!

There's enough time for Congresswoman Jean Schmidt to raise the money she needs. She has a good start. And Heimlich is sadly mistaken to think he can win the primary, megabucks or not. The good congresswoman won four tough elections in 2005-06. There's absolutely no reason to believe she won't win two more in 2008. I intend to do all I can to help her keep her congressional seat. She's earned my support and the backing of a majority of the voters in the Second District.

Both are pathetic. Brinkman is authentic and will soon be in this raise.

Schmidt will cry tears of joy for a while, until Heimlich realizes he is doomed.

Dear Had Enough, I have trouble even understanding what you're talking about.

Just thought I'd respond because I'm sure no one else is and you're probably checking every 10 minutes.

Would italicized exclamation points help me make my point?

I think sex would help, try it.

Sue me.

Of course the person who posts in bold says that he doesn't speak for any particular candidate.

Maybe if you checked the TCIP address of the bold poster, you might find a Hamilton County elected officials address or maybe a current candidate's relative's address. Maybe. Maybe not.

WWWWWWWWWWho is this bold and anonymous DDDDDDDDifficult PPPPPPPPPerson?

"The good congresswoman won four tough elections in 2005-06. There's absolutely no reason to believe she won't win two more in 2008"

Um, the reason to believe that she won't win in 2008 is that the four "tough races" that she won should never have been tough races.

"Tough" does not describe the margin of error, it describes the quality of the opponent. Chabot won a tough race in 2006 and did so convincingly. Jean has never faced a quality opponent and has only squeaked by.

I think that is a reason to believe that she will lose in 2006, don't you?

Emulation is the highest form of 'flattery' !

Can you feel the 'LOVE' !

Um, anonymous at 10:43 am, 10/16, of course, you got in a hurry to get your criticism of Congresswoman Jean Schmidt into print, and you meant to write "2008" instead of "2006" in your last sentence.

Such lack of attention to detail was to be expected in the rest of your comment, and sure enough, there it was. The good Congresswoman emerged out of a field of 11 in the June, 2005, Republican primary to win against the Hamco GOP's fair-haired boy, Patrick DeWhine, and the also-rans, Tom Brinkman (judged to be "the real criminal") and the geographically-challenged Bob McEwen.

Then she confronted the DNC's champion, Paul Hackett, whose campaign garnered support from muckety-mucks such as John Glenn, Jim Carville and other well-known leftists. Toward the end of that difficult race, COAST, the brainchild of Tom Brinkman and Christopher Finney, joined arms with the pro-abortion, liberal Frontier PAC from Oregon to purchase radio time TO URGE SECOND DISTRICT GOP VOTERS TO STAY HOME ON ELECTION DAY RATHER THAN VOTE FOR JEAN SCHMIDT! But despite the absurd difficulties, she won that tough race, too.

In the totally unnecessary and expensive '06 GOP primary there was good ol' Bob McEwen again pretending to be right where he belonged, here in the Sixth, er, ah, the Second District of Virginia, um, uh, Ohio.
Despite renewed vicious opposition of her COAST antagonists, the good Congresswoman won another tough contest to become the GOP candidate again.

Now I will admit that Dr. Victoria Wulsin (malaria as a treatment for aids?!) wasn't much of an opponent.
But that race took place in a uniquely unfriendly political context nation-wide and state-wide, which saw the GOP run out of Columbus with the lonely exception of Mary Taylor at the auditor post.
BUT, lo and behold, the good Congresswoman rose to the challenge and won yet another tough contest, her fourth election victory in a 17-month period!

I could go on and on, but this is enough to buttress my contention that she will win both contests in 2008. Unlike Patrick DeWine, Tom Brinkman, Bob McEwen, Paul Hackett and Victoria Wulsin, Congresswoman Jean Schmidt is a winner. (And COAST can take a long walk off a short pier.)

Jean Schmidt's final challenge will be in 2010.

TNP--Alas, though your defense of Jean Schmidt is spirited (and sincere), your efforts will prove to be as futile as slapping duct tape on the Titanic. She now has a legislative record that will be her iceberg.Maybe if she had demonstrated a willingness to vote for things that would help the people in OH-02 instead of special big money interests, she would have a chance this time around. Maybe if she hadn't surgically attached herself to Bush's policies, she might have a chance. The facts will sink her.

Agreed. Congresswoman Schmidt will defeat Wulsin...again.

An Independent will win in 08'

People are sick and tired of Red and Blue politics. We need focus on jobs and healthcare, not the history of the Ottoman Empire.

Is Jim Parker running as an independent?

If so then you may be right...
