The campaign for the Sales Tax hike began months ago when Pepper, Portune, and Lies imposed this tax increase on us. The campaign restarted recently when Simon Leis decided to use the Sheriff's office to campaign for the tax hike, which he has now been sued for. Is Simon Leis above the law?
Leis's contempt for the law is an important point of discussion on the jail tax. Simon Leis believes the law does not apply to him. He has engaged in illegal and unethical behavior, and has resorted to threats against those who call him out on being a criminal. Leis should be removed from his office, and forced to repay the taxpayers of Hamilton County the money from whom he stole to print pro-jail tax signs to display on tax-payer vehicles.
Leis is a criminal, and that is very much an issue in this campaign.
Leis acting like an egotistical idiot doesn't change the fact that the safety plan is the right thing to do - i just wish leis would shut up - he's obviously having issues

I wonder how long before Si Leis breaks the law, AGAIN, and redirects the sheriff's office website to the jail tax site?
I like their start -- that's something appealing about its simple, straight-forward presentation

Is there anyone out there that wants to have some actual discussion on this topic? Or are people just going to post stuff like the first?
