POWR PAC Switches To Winburn

They didn't announce it, but if you check out the West Side group's Web site, you'll find they switched their previous endorsement of Melanie Bates for, as many suspected, Charlie Winburn.

The group's candidates forum is Oct. 8 at Price Hill Chili.

Yet another victory for Campaign Mangler Scott Gehring. First, he runs Ghiz' campaign into the ground. Then he runs the Blue Chips into the ground. Now he is doing his best to sink Bates' ship.

Not a bad year at all, Scotty.

Scott Gehring is supposed to be a Republican, but he is doing everything to go against them and his party. MELANIE BATES may be running as a Charterite, but she is clearly and definitely a Democrat. I would not support her nor Charlie Winburn (even though, he is a so-called Republican). She/He does not do anything for the West Side and backs only her/his people (fellowers). Bates has done a terrible job on Cincinnati Public Schools Board, too!

By the way, VOTE For Leslie Ghiz, Christopher Monzel, John Eby, Jeff Berding! If you only pick one ... VOTE FOR GHIZ!!!!!

POWR PAC does not fully support the West Side voters. Although, I may agree to vote for GHIZ, MONZEL, EBY, BERDING; they do not represent me and who I vote for. Mary Kuhl is a loser who does nothing but embarass our community. Plus, POWR PAC hand-picks their representatives and will not allow others who may be interested in participating (minority groups and general public). Ask them to list their names to disclose who is on this community.

Trent,
Shouldn't you be working at this time of day instead of "blogging"???
Anyway, Powr Pac for many reasons didn't want to open their organization up to you, so what get over it.

My name is David an 18 years senior voting age and I live in Price Hill and go to Western Hills University, if you must know. I do not know Trent. I did not write from a job, but my own lap top afterschool. I follow Ms. Kuhl's comments in local news sometimes and went to one Westwood Concern meeting in the past. Plus, I was introduced to POWR PAC information via another student who knows Mr. Witte of Price Hill (a local business owner). He told me this group does not allow people of minority group or general public to join or of our age group. I thought this was unfair since I follow local races very closely. Who are you anonymous writer who called me the wrong name?

The bumbling, inept Scott Gehring will ensure defeat for Melanie Bates. So maybe he's working for Republicans after all! Keep up the ...er, good work, Scottie.
