Not trying to correct you, but that statement you attribute to Ghiz is from all of the fiscal 5 council members.

They should all be applauded.

"fiscal 5"?

What does that even mean? They clearly don't know the meaning of the word fiscal.

THE FISHY FIVE LOST in their attempt to shut down health clinics and end aid to the poor. THE FISHY FIVE WON in bringing a new level of lies and secrecy.

Since there are no good articles to post news about national news here and no open thread blogs I'll use this one.

Story#1 :
Mohamed Atta's Best Friend Caught in South Pacific: “You can’t arrest me, I’m working for the CIA”

The journalist Daniel Hopsicker who has done a vast amount of research on Mohammed Atta training to fly at a flight school in Venice, Florida writes an interesting article about Atta's friend Wolfgang Bohringer. Bohringer was considered 'a person of interest' because of his connection to Atta and the Huffman Aviation Flight School in Florida. Bohringer was arrested on November 17, 2006 on Fanning Island (a small island in the South Pacific) and the first thing he blurted out of his mouth was "You can't bust me. I'm with the CIA".

Quote from an article: "The day after the arrest, The Megaphone’s JTTF sources did an about-face. With a mix of threats and attempts at persuasion, they claimed that an error had been made: Bohringer had not been arrested. It was someone else. They couldn’t say who. That identity was secret."

Story #2:
Esteemed Professor and Law Expert Warns Of Police State
Francis A Boyle says 9/11 was allowed to happen, war on terror is facilitating the downfall of The Republic, concentration camps are in place and US citizens are the targets.

"Dr Boyle proceeded to call a very high level official in the FBI who deals with terrorism and counter-terrorism, Spike Bowman, whom he had met at a terrorism conference at the University of Michigan Law School.

He told Bowman that the only people that would have the capability to carry out the attacks were people working on US government programs on Anthrax and with access to high level a bio-safety lab. Dr Boyle went through all the names, the contractors and the labs for Anthrax work with the FBI's Bowman.

Bowman then informed Dr Boyle that the FBI was working with Fort Detrick on the matter, to which he responded that Fort Detrick could really be the main problem.

Story #3:
McVeigh Video Destroys OKC Bombing Official Story

This video shows McVeigh was in military receiving instruction in "explosives and demolition" over a year after official story says he was discharged, whistleblower harassed for years while unknowingly in possession of bombshell tape

The August 1993 footage neatly fills in an unexplained gap in McVeigh' timeline that even the FBI cannot explain. Was this gap deliberately left ignored to avoid a probe into McVeigh's activities at Camp Grafton?

I applaud the Fiscal 5 & they will get my vote. The flunkies who sold out the middle class working people, the very ones who keep this jerk ass city going, will not get my support, let alone my vote.

I'll vote more Republicans in the next time. That will really take the wheels off that so-called Mayor's wagon. And we've got 3 more years of hell with that incompetent.

Gosh, it's time to move. I can't afford to support all those living in this city who are on a free ride.

"...the flunkies who sold out the middle class working people..." what are you talking about? middle class working people (and others) want pools, recreation centers and parks in their communities. that's what attracts people to a city. it's called quality of life. if you don't like this "jerk ass" city, move - we don't want your jerk ass here.
