The Mayor reconvened City Council at 2:15 am after all day budget negotiations. A brief update was given on the status of negotiations, and the Mayor recessed until Thursday, December 21 at 6:00 pm.

I wonder if any of the Social Services beggars were still sitting in Council Chambers at 2:15 AM waiting to see if they're going to get their full restoration of funds.

If they weren't, then they don't get the taxpayer-funded gifts.

Dim Cup, you don't have a problem with the corporate welfare beggers, of course they don't have to beg at these public forums, they just contribute to their politicians campaigns and get huge returns on their investments.
