Locked out
Polls opened a little late at Concordia Lutheran Church in Clifton when officials arrived to find the building locked.
Voters formed a line outside the building, which was opened at about 6:30 a.m., election judge Ron Goettsch said. Voting began about 10 minutes later, he said.
Since then, officials have reported few other glitches, but Goettsch reminds voters to make sure they know where they are supposed to cast their ballots. One woman was dropped off by her husband only to find out she was in the wrong place, Goettsch said - so she had to walk home in the rain.
