Flagged for off-sides

Aaron Hill learned just how seriously they take elections in Westwood when he showed up to pass out pro-Democrat material and got a little too close to the polls. A poll worker didn't just tell him to move, she called in two men from the Board of Elections. She stuck plastic flags in the ground to mark where Hill was allowed to stand. Hill, who has never handed out materials at polling places, was surprised by the stern response. "I didn't have solid instructions," said Hill, 36, standing outside in a yellow rain slicker. But he figured it out. Now he has 11 more hours to stand in the rain - in the proper spot, of course.
