Green party gubernatorial candidate Bob Fitrakis appearing on CNN. Ignored by the Enquirer.
Bob Fitrakis will be appearing
tonight on CNN's Lou Dobbs Show at 6 PM to discuss
election protection issues in Ohio. (Outside Ohio,
see local listings for time and channel.)
http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/10/31/Dobbs.Nov1/index.html
Dobbs has been very open to discussing the full range
of issues, from lack of paper trails to machine
failures to voter suppression activities, so this
should be a timely and entertaining interview.
Check it out!
The Enquirer doesn't think that these are important issues, but real reporters like Green party gubernatorial candidate Bob Fitrakis and Lou Dobbs do.
Bob Fitrakis was on Democracy Now a national news program last week. He's on Lou Dobbs tonight and the Enquirer doesn't think election problems are an issue.
Keep your eyes closed and your hands over your ears Carl.
Don't Vote Republican
Sooner or later you get fed up enough with the Stooges that it’s time to fire them. You don’t decide to keep them because they’re the ones that began the job so they should be the ones best able to complete it. After enough pies have been thrown, enough holes in the wall have been made and enough things broken when they respond to your misgivings with, “Well what would you do?” sounds a bit more than a tad bit lame.
The most logical answer would be to say, “The heck with you” and “We’ll figure it out without your incompetent help” and “Don’t let the door hit you in the butt on the way out”. Some guys just beg to be fired. To do otherwise would be ignorance surrendering to stupidity in the name of gullibility.
There’s a Porky Pig cartoon I remember watching in my youth. It’s often in my head. There’s a young pudgy school age Porky Pig who’s complaining about having to study history. Through the magic of animation Uncle Sam shows up to guide Porky through the early history of the US. It’s a very patriotic little cartoon that embraces; at least as my little kid memory sees it, the wonder of the achievement of our founding fathers. It was popular for it to be run on the fourth of July or Thanksgiving and it always left me with goose bumps.
Yea, I really love this land of ours a great deal and I refuse to be fooled into buying into a neoconservative ideology that only wants to see it bled dry; to see it’s cherished Bill of Rights denigrated to only ‘politically loyal individuals’; and it’s hard fought laws and civil protections abused by powerful political and corporate interests.
I have no idea why anyone who loves the United States would want to vote Republican these days. I’m going to say it again; these are not your fathers Republicans. They’re something different. They have no love for this country what so ever. They love what they can get out of it for themselves.
We’ve run away from the ‘war on terror’ because it was hijacked by the Bush administrations’ neoconservative desires. The Taliban is regaining strength in Afghanistan. Osama Bin Laden is still free and in charge of al-Qaeda. Iraq never should have happened but the nation was forced to war under false pretenses and then once we got there the planning was nonexistent to terrible resulting in unnecessary anguish and carnage. Money has been wasted, misused and stolen causing us to rely on China and other nations to finance our illegitimate war while keeping the lifestyles of the powerful undisturbed.
It would be a great honor for our nation to have the distinction of facing fascism and peacefully defeating it within the political realm using our freedoms so wisely conceived and fought for by our ancestors.

Ken, don't forget the Bush administration had Democrats like Clinton and Kerry voting in support every step of the way. From shredding our constitution, to voting and funding an illegal quagmire in Iraq. They support the torture and secret gulags.
Your fooling youirself if you expect the Democrats to turn into an opposition party all of the sudden. They are owned by the same corporations and war profiteers.
Cranley can also be seen outside of Frisch's Big Boys throughout the Tri-State area,
Don't vote Democrat
If you really love this country you will not vote for the democrats. You cannot peacefully defeat fascism. If you want to be unsafe and have your taxes raised, then vote for a democrat. Because of the democrats you cannot wish your neighbor "Merry Christmas".
Do not vote for the Democrats
